I recently used Contemporary Landscapes & Maintenance for all of the landscaping in a new estate. Chris turned up promptly to quote, took my plans and suggested a few improvements and helped with all of the plant selections.All the work was completed in the agreed time frame and at the quoted cost and looks great. The work included decking, paving, retaining walls, drainage, garden beds, raised vegetable beds, instant turf, planting, edging, screens and mulch.The decking and paving in particular look great and gets lots of comments from visitors. I was very happy with the materials (the paver's for example) that were used and the quality of ther work was done. And Chris was happy to talk through all the future care and maintenance requirements of all the plants.Highly recommended.

Covid, wet weather and travel delayed the start of the project many times – I was ready to give up. But Chris promised he would make it happen and he did. Squeezing in between the constant downpours Chris and Fab transformed the entrance and front my house to something quite special. It looks good now, but I think it will be spectacular in a year’s time and I can’t wait!I have no hesitation in recommending Chris.As an aside, landscape gardeners are very busy at the moment and most of them are booked out for many months. It was extraordinary how arrogant and pushy (and ridiculously expensive) a lot of them have become. I know Chris is busy, but he was always polite, listened to my requests and happily changed things where necessary. The others could learn a lesson or two.

They were excellent at helping us find a solution for our front garden landscaping, from planning, to retaining and the finished product. Nothing was too difficult and the manager was happy to answer any of my questions (no matter how basic) throughout the planning and working process, putting me at ease every step of the way. Can’t recommend the quality of their work enough!
