A+ service from Matt at First Class Auto repair. Had an engine misfire and arranged insurance to tow to a repairer. Matt took the call outside of hours and was happy to oblige. The next day, he sent photos of components as they were being assessed to help explain the issue and didn't go ahead and do anything without prior approval. He was very thorough in his explanations and after sales service. In the end we solved the issue and following a general service and new serpentine belt, the car is running smoother than it has in a long time :) Matt took photos of things like brake pads to flag potential issues down the road. He even fixed a faulty taillight free of charge!I'm stoked to have found a local mechanic who is knowledgeable, honest and reliable. Won't hesitate in bringing the car back to him for next service or if there are any future issues. Thanks again Matt!

Can’t really review this business as a customer, as I didn’t even get that far. The owner sounded friendly initially, but after grabbing so details, he just totally ghosted me for no good reason. I left him messages and also messaged him directly and got no response… nada. Like if the job was too hard for him, he didn’t have the time or just simply didn’t want to do it, a reply would have been nice.Update: Meh. Won’t get too much into it. I know these types. You’d think people would own up their mistakes. Be a champ and take on criticisms and not try to lash out at anything remotely negative said. Not a good look for your business. For starters, I didn’t call about brakes. I called about a clutch. I called three times and left voice messages twice to be called back. I text twice and still got no reply. I called on a Friday so I don’t know where the lies over a weekend came from. His last message said he sent me an email, when I never gave him an email address. So who knows who he messaged. Not only does he “ghosts” people, but he seems to “dox” them too. That’s okay. I’ll be calling Fair Trading about that one tomorrow :)

A quality of service and expertise that you really don't often see anymore. I was given a lift back to work when I dropped my car off, the work was done quickly, the car was given a complimentary clean and all at a price that must be the best in Brisbane. After having 2 other mechanics take me for a ride and take my money I stumbled across Matt’s YouTube video on replacing Amarok wheel bearings. Matt literally saved me thousands of dollars and did the job for me easily, no hassles. He was very honest and it was obvious he’s most interested in genuinely helping people.
