I find it appalling, that people, unless their every need is met, and in the time they stipulate, will run down any medical/dental/psych or what not, I have seen my diabetes educator, podiatrist and even the Dentist (for my mum who is very much older, and sadly has cognitive issues)Is it possible to actually give people a fair go" A saying which used to almost always be used by Aussies.Back off you "Aussies"

This is a big shout out to the superb team at the Adult Mental Health unit at BCHC. The care, understanding and compassion shown to my partner yesterday was a testament to the professionalism of this team. They are also committed to knowing their patients - so as to identify early any issues that may be arising. We are very fortunate to have such a committed and caring team on the northern beaches.

As expected, yet another 'community' mental health service that fails to deliver. Every time, I say 'every service I have been referred to has been useless/ let me down ie not calling when they say they will ', and I'm told 'try it, this will be different, you'll see'. Well, guess what, no, it is EXACTLY the same as all the rest. Dealing with a mental health problem is very very hard. Being constantly let down by the people/service that is being paid to provide support just makes it harder. And no answer today, 29 December. Connected only twice out of 6 calls. The RVA doesn't advise they are closed, and disconnected at end of message. Very poorly managed.Unfortunately mental health issues don't adhere to a 9-5 mentality, nor close over Christmas. FYI, this services apathy is deleterious and makes me wonder why I even bothered. They obviously don't care about the wellbeing of the people who are coming to them for help. I'm already suffering from severe depression - do they really think their ignorance will have had a positive effect on my mood? Frankly, I'm disgusted

I needed a pcr test to go into hospital, the staff here were unhelpful and turned me away not letting me get a pcr test because “I did not have symptoms” however every other clinic I have been to have been able to help. They did not know the rules and regulations and were rude and unhelpful.

I am a carer and went to the northern beaches community mental health service level 3 this morning around 9 am with my client. I have to say that we have been coming here for a couple of months now and everytime is the same story. Feeling not welcome at all, the receptionists are not happy to be there and working for the community. Not to mention they don't wear masks. But today a doctor joined the 2 receptionists and had a not very pleasant conversation about another doctor. They were using, let's say, not polite and kind words. And I was not the only one attending the waiting area. Not very professional environment. This episode is what made me write this review. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I am not use to write reviews because if I don't like a place such as a restaurant, Cafe or cinema etc I simply don't go there anymore. But this is an essential place for anyone with mental health issues and you can't just simply not go" if you don't like the place."
