About the Business
Yandina Creek Wetland | Unitywater has purchased two lots of former cane farming land at Maroochy River as part of a larger program to improve the health of the rivers and creeks in the area. Much of the former cane land will be restored as wetlands, which will remove nutrients and sediments from the river to improve river health.

Beautiful spot for bird watching. Only a short walk, but the wetlands are extensive. Take binoculars to watch the birds. Would live to see the council develop mire walks along the rivers here

Beautiful place to walk and look at birds and Yandina creek.Less than 2km round trip.Note:- Dirt road for 2kms.- Dogs not allowed.- No toilets.

Amazing what they have done here one of the best Wetlands I’ve seen on the coast, easy access and the bird life is fantastic soo worth a visit
