The father and son were in the shop. They told stories and were very helpful. And I got to see the old, worn-out collection and their great range of Akubra hats. Great people! Loved shopping here.I bought two Akubra hats, orangey-tan colour and beige. I was instructed on how to care for them and that the trick is to buy them 1-2 sizes to big, to allow for shrinkage.Definitely recommend shopping here.

Searles has everything including guitar strings. It's got camping gear,work wear, souvenirs, scratches, t-towels, bags and the list goes on. Great friendly service.

This is your genuine old country store. Mr Searle snr is a great guy. Very fun to talk to and also has one of the only photos in the Akruba book.He has stuff in this store that hasn't seen the light for years.
