Rainbow Cliffs (Banambarrnga)
Beautiful cliff face; nice for a day trip or for camping. We camped at site 1 at Rainbow Cliffs. Campsite was large, had good views, it does have wooden poles across so you can’t drive your vehicle in.When you drive into Rainbow Cliffs you have to take the track to the left for the camp ground, the right takes you to the day use area. This is sign posted. Campsite 1 is the first campground you pass and I think probably the best.We were unsure which campground to book online. Campsite 1 is on the left hand side of the track, which means you are on the cliff edge side, with views over the beach. Note: you cannot see the Rainbow Cliffs from any of the campsites. The other 3 campsites are a 5 minute walk from campsite 1 and are on the right hand side of the track, further from the cliff edge/views and closer together. Campsite 1 has better views and is more private than the others. We walked from Campsite 1 to the other campsites, dropped down onto the beach and around the coast to the Rainbow Cliff. This took 10-15 minutes and is a nice walk, it is great to see the cliffs from below. We also drove around to the Rainbow Cliffs day use area. There are picnic benches, and a view across to the cliffs, I don’t believe this view is as good as the view from the beach.I haven’t shared photos of Rainbow Cliffs, as signs at the day use area stated that the aboriginal landowners do not want photos shared.Nice spot, worth a visit for a short walk or a camping trip.

Good place to see turtle marks in the sand where they came up to lay eggs!

Lovely walk past the cliffs with evidence of turtle egg laying activity last night. This and little Bondi were outstanding attractions, together with Goans lagoon where we swam.

Rainbow Cliffs (Banambarrnga)
Breathtaking views of cliff, beach and surrounding ocean. There are a couple of camping sites with tables and fire pits. Further away from the site is a long drop toilet. You can park and walk down to the beach. Continue walking to your right (from camp site) and you will come across the cliff.Spectacular beach with white sand. If the tide is out you may have to walk over rocks. There is a day area further down, where you can park and access the beach.
