Don't do it. The time from manufacturing to shipping is ridiculous. There will be issues with your computer such as overheating issues or dead pixels. The build quality is poor. Don't fall for the extended warranties, Australian consumer law covers most of that anyway.

When will company management learn to know that bad after sale service can easily let down a long time customer? I have been using Dell monitors and laptops for some years, and recently the first time to have bought a $2000 laptop with a Dead On Arrival problem. How would you feel that after requested a return, the customer service only refer me to the technical support to have it repaired? Dell has also made the return process painful for the customer with pick up date one week after the return request date, made me wait all day without indicating an approximate pick up time, and a speedy refund process of up to 10 working days.

Deceitful advertising, awful customer service. Purchased a bunch of Christmas gifts for family and after receiving an email stating that their “stock is no longer available” they wondered if I would like a refund… this was a $3,500 purchase so “yes” was the answer and their response was “kindly prove you paid the $3,500 first… take a screen shot”. It made me double check that this is actually legitimately the Dell site… kindly take a screen shot?! Extremely unprofessional, do not purchase from them, extremely disappointing and they couldn’t care less. I notice there are no responses to the many other negative reviews on this site, and that says a lot. Wish I had checked the reviews sooner. *still awaiting a refund

Don't have the option to give less than one star otherwise I would have given it. I bought two laptops last year along with 3 years premium warranty for the next day onsite services. In few months time in one laptop (360 degree), due to a manufacturing defect, the hinges broke and came out of screen. Spoke to technical support, they said someone will visit next day to fix the issue and they confirmed via email. On the day, got another email stating it is reschedule and will inform later. Few days later got another email that someone will visit after 3 weeks. They said if something happen to the screen then it is not covered. The laptop is in flap open position and I can not close it as it might break the screen .When I asked for the replacement or a standby laptop, they said no it is not in their policy. I don't know what is there in their policy, making big promises and not delivering. Highly disappointed, will never buy their product again.

I have bought 8 laptops in the last month. Without any exaggeration every one has been problematic. Online support is abysmal. I have literally spend 3-7 hours on every order trying to sort out the order. I have tried to reach out to Angela Fox to =get help - I genuinely want to resolve the issue, but just Radio Silence" - I don't care if she bumps me to someone who can help

Last month, I purchased my FORTH Dell laptop - Dell XPS 13 plus. This new laptop kept restarting itself, so Dell replaced the main board. But since then I couldn't turn on my laptop sometimes, and it ALWAYS showed an error message. I got my Dell laptop for less than 30 day and been calling Dell to resolve the issues for more than two weeks. I talked to more than 5 Dell assistants. Seriously, all of them did not know how to do their job. Only Mark Hardy from DELL NEW ZEALAND raised this issue as a Major issue and tried to get me a replacement. But Dell AUSTRALIA offered me a DELL XPS 13 (lower model) as a replacement. So unprofessional and unfair. This is my work laptop which I spent more then 2k on it. Even though there have been several issue, I've been patient, and this was how DELL AUSTRALIA treated me. I will never buy Dell laptop again, and I will tell everyone to not waste their time, money and mental health dealing with this unprofessional and unfair service from DELL AUSTRALIA.

Customer service is absolutely terrible. Advised fast delivery but still waiting weeks later. Impossible to get through as system is built send people to read their website. When you get through it is a pointless exercise. I’ve been waiting weeks for a delivery and it seems again they are sending Sydney to Cairns when it needs to be delivered to me in Sydney. Never again!

I called Dell Support yesterday morning because I had two errors I couldn’t fix. 1) Error message when an automatic Windows download was trying to install, 2) my Dell Support/Assist wouldn’t load despite uninstalling and reinstalling a number of times and doing a shutdown and restart in between.Your technician completely destroyed my computer until it was unbootable with a totally blank blue screen and Dell were forced to send me Windows 10 on a USB. I was on the phone to him for three hours and found him minimally polite and slightly contemptuous in his attitude. I didn’t touch anything, except to endlessly tap first F12 when requested to see if it would boot, then, after he thought about it for a while, we tried the same thing with F2. He should not be in the role of technician.I was forced to take my computer to be repaired. I picked it up this morning. The repair cost me A$153.50. I have enclosed the bill. I also bought a CD drive which I have deducted from the bill’s total.I consider the repair was caused entirely by the incompetence of your technical officer. It has caused me considerable stress and inconvenience.

Booked an on-site service to replace the broken SSD. Waited 2 business days and no response at all after 5 calls. I'm in Premium Support Plus, which Dell advised it as next-business day repair.

The worst experience in purchasing a business All-in-one Desktop. I wasn't expecting such a bad service from a renowned brand like Dell, that too in a country like Australia. I have purchased 3 units of All-in-one desktop for business use, with antivirus 1 year subscription, only to get a 30-days trial. When I contacted the technical support, they requested me to communicate with McAfee. Why should I contact them if the purchase was done with Dell in the first place? Why sell a software if you are not able to pre-install it in the computer? Utterly disappointed! I really hope the headquarters would do something about this.
