Frontier Hotel Darwin
One of the worst bookings ever made by a corporate travel agency.No food available including breakfast. The demountable bar was open but was a seperate business and could not be charged back to the room. The hotel insisted on taking a $100 holding deposit even though it was a travel agency booking.Take caution in the car park. The pot holes will eat your hire car.

Room was clean and comfortable but had terrible lighting, very hard to see anything unless it was day light. Only 1 lift was working. Not once was our room cleaned over the 5 days. I was unsatisfied with the staff, very unhelpful and non engaging or happy. For $280 a night I expected more then this.

It was poor because the staff said they will bring up a blanket and toilet paper for us and we had to ask them several time and they still didn’t give it to us and we had to go down there and ask and they gave it to us but had to wait again because he said he would bring it up but too way too long and had to ask them many time.When we arrive they said to call us for anything we need and we needed few things and ect … and the phone in the room doesn’t work at all. Don’t say we can call you if we have anything when their phone doesn’t work !!The cleaner they never came since we been there for 1 week and they it was very bad and poor room wasn’t clean everyday and all up I wouldn’t recommend coming here!!The hall way smell like wet feet and the staff wasn’t really around at all and didn’t give us much communication about the pool. Like we thought there will be pool towel down at the pool and it there wasn’t and we didn’t know that and wish we did and we had to go receptionist and ask and had to wait 20min for them to give it to us !!! Just everything was unorganised

Horrible hotel. Only positive was the bar/ restaurant. You will se my pics. Mold in living area. Not even near window or air unit. Ceiling in bathroom falling down. Fridge barely opened fro the carpet. Trash under 2nd bed from previous guest. Don’t for the roaches seen and killed by myself and co-worker in his room as well. Wi-Fi was horrible. I really don’t have anything positive to say. Elevators horrible. Far right would break down often. I stood in it for around 3 min waiting for door to close. If you want cheap and bad, this is you let place. If not then see my pics and take my warning. Stayed there for 3 weeks. They take your money at check-in so we couldn’t change hotels. Soap would come from the drain in the bathroom each morning I showered. It was nasty with all the dirt and hair in it. They advertised they remodeled in 2018. No way. If so they should get money backReply to respond. Yes the staff was aware. I told them on night 1 of my 21 day stay. Response was we don’t have another room for you. Never offered to look at it

Had a 3 night stay was very happy that is Time to check out on the last night when I returned back to the room I had no power for fridge-tv and half off the lights on letting the reception know I was told on check out that I would receive a small refund on stay. Well on check out the that has no personality all she can say is I know I can't do anything maintenance has to do that. So that's it I'm still waiting for a reply would I stay there again no way not if she works there it's sad how 1 person turns a happy stay in a will stay here again someone one should teach her how to say that she is at least sorry for my inconvenience.

wont stay here again.well overpriced for a verey average place. First time i have ever been charged for late check out.Thats the one thing they were right on to.Bar staff were freindly was one positive.

Frontier Hotel Darwin
Rooms are spacious and clean. There is a bar area on floor p where you can sit and watch tv, gamble, or as i did, sat on the verandah and listen to the singer/ guitarist/ one man band. He was very good and the view is of palm trees. Great of a might time.

Great local pub with good food and entertaining trivia night. Food is pretty good too. Have not stayed here so unable to comment on the rooms.Be aware this hotel does have adult entertainment nights also.

4/5 stars for what it was - good value for money. Good location, adequate facilities that served their purpose. An older hotel and therefore a bit tired, but was clean and comfortable, a great choice if on a budget. A great location too if not wanting to be right in the city… easy to get everywhere.

Basic rooms, there’s no roof light in the main bedroom area with the room also lacking a fan in the bathroom. The shower was installed for someone that is 5’6 unfortunately cannot be moved any higher either. The hotel staff however were very nice and the pub downstairs was also well priced and was located right next to the pool that was very clean and had good seating. Location to city centre great, e-scooter park outside the hotel which is great! The room was the main downfall of this entire stay! Maybe not again for us…. Improvement needed
