This school masks its true self through its 'new age' building programs and born again christian propaganda. As a past student myself, this school is just an overprice public school. The younger years are brain washed with praise jesus bull and as the students progress in age, the number of true christians is limited to the cultish teachers and management. the sheer amount of come and go teachers proves this. The school cares more about its image than the actual students.

Little Emotional SupportI am a former student that attended in 2022. I have autism and due to the lack of support I switched schools. For context I also have bad anxiety that has thankfully got better since leaving and starting home schooling. One of my worst experiences was when in PE I had a panic attack and was struggling to breathe. I was taken to the nurses' office and was begging to go home. After I had finally calmed down I snuck my phone from my locker to call my mum. She told me that the school hadn't told her anything about it, which made me more upset, maybe they hadn't had the time to. Nope. They never told her about the incident, the only reason she knew was because I told her.One of the nurses should not be working with children. For additional context, a symptom of my anxiety is that I feel nauseous, this resulted in quite a few visits to the nurses office as I have difficulty telling the different as to if I am sick or anxious. She told me that I should stop faking all the time to get out of class. I do not fake being sick. I love school and would never do so. I have a bad memory so I'm not sure if this is before or after the incident I mentioned above. All most all of the emotional support I received was if I had an panic attack, not to prevent one. In the incident I mentioned before one of the counsellors tired to lure me into going into their office with the promise of snacks and lollies. I am not a dog.Due to the fact this is a Christian school I was curious as to if they support LGBTQ+ so I asked the middle school head, he said they support it but they don't want people advertising it???The only positive things I remember for the school was the good teachers, although judged from other reviews, others weren't as lucky. They did have a good library both physical and digital, in my breaks I would go and help out in there by putting away books. They such a good collection that when I search up the books that they have for a re-read that I have difficulty finding them.

as a student of this school I can confidently say it cares more about making you tie your hair up then your mental or physical wellbeing. despite the wellbeing office" being available to students it rarely offers any help and basically tells you to deal with it. no wonder staff turnover rate is so high."

As a past student at the school, I will say the facilities are amazing buildings with state of the art technology and gym equipment, but all of this is to mask the true side of the college. The truth is the teaches don’t care about the Students wellbeing and their opinions, they care more about the image of the school and how the public looks upon the school. The academic rubric at St Phillips is atrocious, and I don’t say this because of how “useless” the classes are but because of the assessments, having 3 assignments due in the same week is stressful and also draining taking the fun out of learning and making it feel like more of a chore than an assessment. The students at this school can sometimes be treated poorly at times especially when it comes to behavioural issues it seems that when a student is in trouble the teachers seem to lean more towards it being the fault of the student strait away without reason evidence. After students have been vaping in the bathroom the teachers tend to lock all of the toilets around the school leaving no where for the students to go when they need to go to the toilet and teachers will not unlock for days sometimes even weeks. It is absolutely appalling to see such a great school with great facilities under such bad management. It seems after the principal Mr. Cox left the school the teachers and new principal forgot what Mr. Cox had intended for the school and it’s students. When it comes to students bringing these issues up with the teachers they seem to brush it off and let it go as if it was nothing purely because the teacher is always right and students are always wrong. Teachers including the head of senior seem to not realise that students are also people and have a voice as well. When students start asking questions about Christianity and questioning what they believe in the teachers don’t answer the question from other perspectives they look at it from Christianity and give you an answer that make Christianity the only option like there are no other religions.

Poor support from the Dale School. They told us they couldn’t support my child and he could not return because they gave up on him within a term.God and Jesus accept everyone but this school and it’s teachers lead by the the Dale principal don’t live by the true Christian values of loving everyone and trying to not give up like Jesus did.
