Hill of Promise Winery and Cellar Door
I just loved this place. Me and my wife got a warm welcome and we are definitely coming back here if we got the chance. We bought a red wine (nanna gelso 2016) and had it with grilled chicken and it was just a wonderful wine to that dish. And looking forward to try the sparkling with wine (three merys sparkling muscat) with cheese, biscuits, walnuts and honey :)

Beautiful wines and very warm welcome to the cellar door.As per your recommendation we are having the sweet white that we bought from you with a nice chicken green curry and went so well together ! Followed by a beautiful lemoncelloRecommend to anyone to stop by and try their wines.

Mary was a lovely host for us and the wine was fantastic. The house was lovely and cool and the garden beautiful. Mary took her time to chat and explain the wines in detail and we felt very welcome and not rushed through as happens at some wineries.It's very clear they have a passion and don't cut corners and the dedicating comes through with the delicious choices of wine they craft.Bought enough wine for the next bit of our trip but we can't wait for an excuse to go back.

Hill of Promise Winery and Cellar Door
This is a lovely little family-owned winery (the best kind!). We saw a sign and stopped by on our way from Brisbane to Cairns. I highly recommend stopping by for a wine and liqueur tasting, you definitely don't want to miss ending your tasting with the lemoncello or coffee liqueur. We greatly enjoyed chatting with Terry, a local legend. The wines were absolutely fantastic, the Two Fat Frogs Semillon was a favorite - and we enjoyed our bottle!

Terry and Mary the owners of the winery are a gracious and very kind couple, also very knowledgeable about their wine and food. We stayed overnight in one of the cottages it was very peaceful and we also attended the Long Table Lunch in the winery it was excellent, great food wine and company.We highly recommend the winery.Dieter and Peggy Korte
