Nero’s Woodfired Pizza
This little place is not flash but what an incredible surprise and amazing experience. The owner/chef was very attentive and knew a lot about traditional Italian pizza and wines. We enjoyed the most incredible meal … best pizza I’ve ever eaten and the red wine was amazing!!! 3/4 of us were vegan and the vegan options were divine!! Highly recommend this awesome little diamond in Woy Woy and we can’t wait to go back. I spilt my red wine and they topped me up straight away no questions asked.

Indescribable - the food is so good that we are still sitting here between mains and dessert; and you have to experience it to believe it! Let’s just say everything melts in your mouth and your tastebuds experience a symphony of flavors. I’ve never been to Italy but I could imagine this is EXACTLY what it the food would be like. Thank you Mitch and Josie - we shall return and share your passion and journey with others.Update: dessert came out. They’ve nailed my favorite - tiramisu! Just wow.Update: returned tonight to try new pizzas - still no words. Must. Try. Now.

Nero’s Woodfired Pizza
So glad to have discovered this place on Google Maps because everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. We got the funghi pizza and gnocchi zucca for takeaway and they were both stunning (even though we picked it up a bit late).I'm really looking forward to coming again and trying everything else on the menu!

They make some of the best pizzas i had in my life (was in Naples 2 weeks ago) and by far the best on the coast.Every pizza is an experience with only the best produced used and very creative flavour combinations.Their gnocchis are just as good like little clouds (so soft) and the tiramisu is to die for.Did i mention that it is run by the most friendly couple ever?!If you haven't try rush in! you can thank me later..

My mortgage is in trouble after visiting this place...I'd be here Wednesday to Sunday if the missus would let me.Top shelf high quality ingredients feature across Nero's menu, and Mitch, the owner and chef, make bloody good use of them. These are some of the best pizzas you'll eat, period - tell your friends.

Great meal tonight. Dropped in on the spur of the moment. Not busy, so we asked and then sat down.First up, very different feel to the old Tropicana decor. Super friendly welcome.Ordered a Marguerita a Salsiccia and a beer (Sans Papier).As expected with this kind of pizza, it came quickly. Both pizzas looked and smelled amazing. I had the Marguerita. Super simple but all the flavours were great, all sat on that great, chewy wood-fired base. Doesn't get much better than that.Grabbed another beer. Again, friendly, got asked how everything was.Wouldn't hesitate to come back (often).Thank you!!Edit. 03/12/22 - still amazing. New pic is prosciutto tartufo and a Sans Papier. Great service, great food. Will be back...

The young couple that run Nero's are quite remarkable. They make all of their food in-house with Italian ingredients, creating the most delicious Italian we have had on the Coast. Their passion and love for Italian food is tasted in every mouthful, from the starters, mains, and all the way through to desert and their selection of drinks. This is food at its finest!
