A nice walk through lovely bush and water ways very popular walk 2.7 kLots of water birds tortoises.There are some chairs & tables along the way for a rest or a picnic

Went here after its reopened post floods but before it's been spruced up". Not a lot happening but a tonne of potential for future visitors with the new plans now in place. Some good picnic options and scenic walks with wildlife to spot. Not too difficult to get to

Quite a busy area especially on weekends. I recommend taking the longer route that goes along the Kangaroo trails which are aptly named, as we saw quite a few Kangaroos. Incredible amount of birds, and wildlife in general. Not to mention the flora as well.

Great underated park with plenty to do. KLM of walking tracks, bbqs, kids playground, koi feeding and a mini railway.Pop over on Sundays to ride the mini railway with the kids for 3pp.No dogs allowed.

I finally got my chance to go to the miniature railway there today with my social group - I couldn’t be more proud for myself and I highly recommend any train buff like myself to go out there who is just as enthusiastic as I am - learnt a whole lot of the area there too!

Nice quiet place, the grounds near the building is wonderful for outdoor wedding. The buildings bricks is intricate and beautiful. I do not think you are allowed inside though as it’s got asbestos warning on the door.parking is enough for the size of the place.there’s a bbq area, small playground for the kids, and the lake is open for some recreational activities. Unfortunately the mini train tracks is closed when I went there (April 2021).

Great spot for some history and a lovely, easy stroll in light bush. The kids enjoyed walking along the train tracks and following random tracks to see where they went. Lit up their imagination. Beautiful winter afternoon!!

I visited on a week day and the miniature train was not operating, but the wide well maintained paths made for a pleasant walk. Lots of birds in the flowering shrubs and I saw a group of kangaroos. The pump house was interesting with its strikingly ornate brick chimney. The picnic area and playground was popular with young families.

Take a short drive to Walka Water Works and you find yourself in relaxing country side. Great BBQ facilities, beautiful walking/running tracks.
