Driving though Mendooran, I noticed the old butcher shop renovated as a nice new cheese shop. Decided to stop and investigate, had a chat and bought some blue cheese. Have since half finished. Is nice, very mild and nice medium texture. The cheese is made in the village. Recommend stopping having a yarn and buying some cheese.

Blue Sky Cheese did an incredible job of our wedding “cake”. 2 weeks later and I’m still getting comments from our guests. From the moment I contacted Blue Sky they went above and beyond with their customer service. They were so helpful and friendly. Then my sister and I got caught sneaking a taste before it was cut- we couldn’t resist. It was to die for!!!! I normally don’t like blue cheese, but I chowed down this one! Thank you so much.

My husband and I were recommended by the Coonabarabran Visitor Information Centre to stop in at the Blue Sky Cheese shop on our way back home to Penrith. So glad we did! The owner Deb was so friendly and was happy to talk to us about the different cheeses and the process of cheesemaking and her products. The store also sells local produce such as bread, vegetables, jams, marmalades etc. I also bought a beautiful pair of dragonfly earings made by a young local girl. The cheese was delicious and did not last very long in our household. I would highly recommend stopping in and picking up some cheeses to try, you won't be disappointed.

Tried the Swiss loved it return trip bought the Cambert, Tuesday 12th, I am the only one eating it, Sunday 17th all gone. Buying more on our next trip.
