It gives me great pleasure to recommend Achilles Concrete. We come across Terry and his team while they were completing a concrete driveway across the road from our house over 5 years ago. At the “drop of a hat” Terry came over to quote us for side concrete pathway along the left hand side of our house. We engaged Terry and the whole job was exceptional workmanship and carried out with extreme professionalism in a timely manner.With such a firm first impression of trust it was a “no brainer”, we again engaged Terry this year for our next job being the construction of a new retaining wall, sleeper fence and driveway. We were excited again for our early morning conversations with his merry staff while that filled us in on the various work tasks they were undertaking on a day to day basis and no job was ever a problem. They were extremely accomodating and flexible - Terry comes filled with a wealth of experience and knowledge of the industry.The whole job was better than anticipated and couldn’t wait to show our friends and neighbours. Achilles Concrete installed a concrete footpath and handrails on the side of our house. 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ While Terry, Mick, Jack and Chris were here, they went above and beyond the call of duty and attended to many other areas that needed attention. The whole team has tons of initiative and a very strong work ethic of a bygone era. They offered very good suggestions and gave advice freely.Not only was the concrete path completed, but the handrails were also fantastic. Achilles Concrete also replaced my arbor, in the same material as the handrails, fixed my driveway gate, trimmed back greenery, extended downpipes, recommended attractive landscaping stones, chose and collected the stones from the landscaping company, and installed them, to name just a few of their “above and beyond my expectations” projects.We had been waiting for more than ten years to have many of these “extras” completed, so we were absolutely thrilled and delighted to see them finished. Special mention should be made of one of Terry’s crew members, Mick, who is a true master of many trades. “No job too small” is very true of Achilles Concrete Service.
