Claire is a great teacher! My sessions with her are very friendly and relaxed, whilst also challenging enough to help me improve my french. As an intermediate/advanced French speaker I really value being able to learn from a native speaker and Clare is great at tailoring each session to my level, encouraging me to improve both my speaking and writing skills. I would definitely recommend Claire to anyone looking to learn or improve their language skills!

Claire has been my French teacher for over six months. I thoroughly enjoy our sessions. My vocabulary, grammar and conversation skills have improved markedly. Claire's English is excellent and she is good at providing clear explanations of difficult grammatical issues. I am looking forward to a group-tuition session. I thoroughly recommend Claire as a teacher.

I'm really enjoying improving my French with Claire. She is a very good teacher with lots of great ideas and activities to make learning fun and successful. Importantly, she is also willing to adapt to my preferences and goals and work with resources that I bring along for my particular interests.My private lessons are excellent value for money and I'm looking forward to small group conversation classes as well.

Claire has been my French tutor for the past 5 months now and in that time my grammar and confidence have rapidly improved. I have attended (large) group French lessons before, but have found private lessons to be fantastic for me as they proceed at my pace and are adapted to my interests and personal goals – I am also not able to sit back and let others do the talking, which is what I need to progress! Claire is a friendly, patient and knowledgeable tutor and I highly recommend her.
