I had my hair cut at Donna Sheridan just recently and it was such a refreshing experience. The salon itself is so beautiful and peaceful and all the hairdressers were so lovely. My hair looked absolutely amazing and I walked out feeling completely renewed. For the quality of stylists and cut, I was shocked at how inexpensive it was. I have had so many people comment how good I look. Rate the salon, the people and the cut completely!

I've been getting my hair cut and coloured by Donna for more than 5 years. She does such a great job, building on my hair ideas and making them better than I could ever imagine! She offers more than a hair cut or colour, she offers a total experience where you feel pampered and at ease. Her studio space makes you feel very VIP (but not in a pretentious way). My hair is the best it's ever been. Can not recommend her more highly.

Donna is a rare find, an extremely talented cutter and colourist who puts the client at the centre of every interaction and experience. I moved to Melbourne in 2013 having had a 15 year relationship with my hairdresser in Sydney. I was so nervous about starting a new hair relationship. I approached a work colleague who had amazing short hair and asked her where she got her hair cut and that was my introduction to Donna. Her new studio is a mini professional salon but is so comfortable and relaxing. I would recommend Donna most highly.

Had the best haircut basically of my life here. Donna had never cut my hair before and it was about 3 months ago and it is still growing out perfectly. The gift that keeps on giving.

Donna Sheridan makes for amazing everyday hair. My hair is in the best condition it’s ever been in and with much less effort. The girls at Donna Sheridan embrace natural beauty, colouring, cuts and styling. Shannon is my go to and I’m always beyond pleased with the results. Another big tick is that it’s a sustainable salon.

The worst haircut of my life cost me $150.I was so excited to get my haircut at Donna Sheridan but I left with a cross between a mullet and Carol Brady’s hairstyle. It was so bad friends would ask me where I got my hair cut so they could avoid the salon I went to! A week after the cut, I was contacted by the salon asking me how I was liking my haircut. Because they asked me, I was honest with them and said that I hated it and regretted spending so much money on a haircut I was waiting to grow out. They proposed that I could return to the salon to have someone “fix” my hair for me, but I really didn’t want to risk it again (anyone who has had a bad haircut can understand, the last thing you want to do is make it worse!) so I politely requested a refund. Four days went by with no response to my message, so I sent a further message requesting a response and stating that I will write an honest review of my experience if I do not receive a response by the end of the day. I promptly got a call from the Owner apologising for my haircut but telling me that it was “icky” that I requested a response by the end of the day. How rude after ignoring my polite request for four days!? She was unwilling to provide me with even a partial refund, and was extremely rude and condescending over the phone. Don’t ask your customers how they are enjoying their haircuts if you’re only prepared to receive good feedback. They asked for my opinion, I didn’t volunteer it, and had I not been contacted, I wouldn’t have said anything.I never write bad reviews, but honestly save your hair and your money and go elsewhere.I know they will respond to this disputing what happened to save face, but seriously why risk spending $150 on a haircut that makes you look like you went to a shopping centre in Moe.

What a space. On a sunny afternoon, the light coming in to this shop is epic. Not to mention the friendly staff who have all your cutting and hair styling needs covered.

Never have I felt more at ease walking into a salon. Each hairdresser works with your natural hair texture & style to find the right personalised look for you — I mean, hello! DREAM! I saw two different stylists, each specialising in their own thing. Michelle is a colour wizard and transformed my light brown hair into a delicious buttery blonde and Chris gave me the confidence to chop all my hair off and embrace a pixie cut. I’ve never felt better in my own skin. Dramatic, but true. If you’re looking for a new hairdresser in Melbourne, I cannot recommend Donna Sheridan enough!!!

I am so happy to have finally found my local melbourne hairdresser! Donna's studio is beautiful and her hairdressing is fantastic. She asked me what I wanted and why I wanted that and we spoke until we came to a decision and haircut that I love! She makes sure that you leave the salon feeling confident with your new hair cut And that it will look good even when she's not around to blow dry and style it for you!
