Rude and unprofessional email back after I was confused as to why I was being charged $50 plus again for shipping costs when I had already paid $20 for shipping for a $200 purchase from this store. Do not recommend purchasing from here at all.Prior to my first comment, The owner claims she gave me “options” following my query however this is a lie. When I simply sent some information to her regarding the acts of conduct from consumer law she freaked out and said exactly this;“We send this Item to hundreds of people all over the world and you are the only person with an issue.We will therefore not continue with this transaction and have refunded your money.”

Such a wonderful boutique with some many items instore! Some beautiful items which are unique and different to what else is around town. Would definitely stop by!

Laura is always smiling and happy to help with selecting the perfect gifts and treats for myself too!I love that local delivery is an option for those busy days.The selection of homewares is absolutely gorgeous and up to date. Very disappointed with the refusal to refund a damaged item which I had purchased only hours earlier. Upon arriving home, I realised the item had obviously become scratched and dinted from being stock on the floor. When returning and asking if I could swap it or get a refund, I was told there were no more in stock, and that they don’t do refunds, only credit notes. I explained that I was of the understanding that a refund cannot be refused if an item is damaged, to which I was told the item was on sale so they couldn’t offer a refund. No refunds is unlawful, especially if something is damaged. I have spent a significant amount of money at this store over the years when visiting, but they have now lost my business.

Dot & Lu is such a lovely store. Incredible taste in all homewares stocked. Never leave without getting something. Beautifully put together!
