Costco Wholesale Ipswich

I went straight to get food but was stopped by some blonde - wasn’t crazy rude but wasn’t nice either - stopped me from getting food until I went through the entrance and to show my membership which I suppose is fine but they could check my id then and there too. Anyway purchase my stuff then went to get a chicken burger and bubble tea. Got home and got diarrhoea - legit I know it was Costco that caused it (as it was the only thing I had eaten all day) or my unsanitised hands (but not “dirty” per se, only trolley and product handling) - also went looking for sanitiser but either they were very hard to find or were absent. And no I didn’t go to the toilet to wash my hands.Anyway, chicken burger tasted poor, best part were the lettuce and tomato tbh - super fresh, bubble tea pearls were crazy nice but tbh it’s not the expected chewy pearls people usually like. These were mushy and super soft and for my teeth I loved them. Maybe these gave me diarrhoea? The milk tea part is actually some kind of icy milk tea which is weird. Call it icy milk tea instead lol, it’s not bbtStill, the negative first human interaction with that blond lady. Sheesh be nicer to customers mate, we pay for your wage essentially

Once you have purchased your yearly membership, you can take 1 friend when shopping. And have 2 cards per household.ALWAYS READ THE UNIT PRICE! Not all items are cheap here, and because most items are much larger, it's difficult to compare apples with apples.. so knowing unit prices is a must if working out if your getting a good deal.PETROL.. I ALWAYS fill up with fuel here. Normally, the fuel prices are the same or lower than the best around fuel prices, but it also is 98 fuel.. I can normally get an extra 100km++ out of a tank, compared to 91 fuel. And because Costco goes through so much fuel. It is clean n fresh, therefore better for your car.

Huge store for everyday needs. Everything in bulk so everything has a discount. Kids always get lost. Sometimes they have food samples that are absolutely delicious.

A well stocked warehouse in a convenient location. It has all the regular bulk items at good prices as well as organic and paleo items. The fruit and vegetable section was excellent in quality, same with the dairy aisle. Furthermore, their health aisle has a great range of protein powder at a good price. Unfortunately, this store currently doesn't sell liquor which is a bit of an inconvenience. The store can also be busy on weekends, so it's important to choose your visiting times wisely.

It's always fun to see what they may have! The different stock and items is always interesting. I don't think even buying I'm bulk is always cheaper if your already a savvy shopper. The meat is top quality, bakery is divine (enjoying trying a new thing each trip) and the cafe on the way out is great. Can't beat a hot dog & drink for $2. The staff unfortunately aren't always super welcoming and you can be up for a decent wait on check outs and cafe at busy periods!*Edit - do not go late on a Saturday. Ducked in 30 mins before closing for a vacuum. Fridge stock was the lowest I had ever seen. The cafe was appalling. Nothing but hot dogs left, no sauce ( sauce area a huge mess) soft drink running on soda water. Was a massive disappointment. Would not recommend.

A wide range of product and good value for most items. Love the hot food area, always fresh and quickly served. The petrol and diesel prices are usually a lot cheaper than any where else!Only bad experience I've had here was checkout didn't scan an item and I was unaware, at the exit door I was told one item wasn't scanned. The gentlemen was quite rude about it and had a bad attitude. He was also loud and drew attention to me. When I asked where do I go to pay he just pointed back towards the food area and said find someone with a red jacket. He made me feel like I was doing something wrong when it was the cashier who made the mistake. Perhaps some better training for these instances would make a better experience. I haven't been back to Costco since this incident.

Good for bulk buying, don’t miss out on the pizzas if you go there!!

During my recent visit, I was informed that only two individuals were allowed per card to enter. However I observed that four people from outside were allowed to enter without any issue

I bought piece of furniture from Costco and used the recommended company for delivery services. As furniture was delivered. It was found broken by delivery company employees who opened the box in front of me. I took photos and spoke to Costco admin team.They made it feel like it’s all my fault and blame game is going to begin now and it’s going to take few days before they get back to me.I am now stuck with broken piece of furniture worth 800$ sitting in my drawing room for days.Absolutely shocking customer service.
