I got in contact with Yvette after the birth of my first child, when I developed perioral dermatitis and a really weak immune system. I realised that topical treatments were not helping and I needed a holistic approach to healing my body after the birth and postpartum, which really took a toll on my body.I was eating a lot of unhealthy foods - refined sugars, processed carbs, cakes and pastries etc.After my initial consultation with Yvette, she put me right back on track with a diet plan - a clean Mediterranean diet - and gave me a roadmap of how I can treat my gut and my skin after I finished breastfeeding.The healing process took some time (all healing journeys are never linear) because we had to wait until I fully weaned bub before starting naturopathic treatment but all along the way, Yvette was really encouraging and supportive, and that really kept me going even during the rough times with my skin flaring up and my cortisol levels were through the roof due to hormones etc.Yvette is really knowledgeable and she is super pragmatic in her approach. She will only prescribe what is appropriate and targeted for your needs, and will never jeopardise your health (or bub for that matter, because I as breastfeeding) just to give you a quick fix".
