Australia Post - Chermside Centre Post Shop

Very Poor service, I ask them to hold my Envelope and send back to my address and they lost it and my passport was in it and I am going to be in big trouble due to their carelessness because they were saying that they didn't have any idea where my envelope is! They should ask the driver but they don't want to. What this service means?? Our precious things we give by trusting on them and they loose and easily says they don't know!! What the hell is going on? They don't have any idea how big trouble they created for me because I need to lodge my visa application till december because rules are getting changed and before that I need my PCC which will itself takes a month to get. But that's not their problem.

Such shockingly bad service I question why this post office exists at all.Went to ship a parcel to Canada today and was turned away because the customs form “would be too difficult”. Literally told to go somewhere else.Asked to print the form myself and they also said no, wouldn’t print anything (though this is service provided at every other Aus Post).If you can’t do basic postal services, why do you exist? Maybe stop focusing on air fryers and fancy tea cups and train your staff on how to do the very basics- your sole purpose: postal service.

Just got rudely served by an older woman at the counter with long blonde hair and did not help me whatsoever. Acted like it was a bother to talk to me, (even made a big show of groaning at one point) despite being polite throughout to her. Maybe don’t work in customer service if you don’t know how to have basic manners.

Bad customer service experience here today. I don't write many negative reviews but yikes, have to share this one. Served by outlet ID 434650 & wow.... this lady was rude! Won't be going back here again if I can help it!!

One of, if not, *the best* post office in Australia.I post daily, and no matter what mood I am, the stress I am under or anything going on in my life - every single staff member at this post office has a calming presence. They really care and look after you.I was able to expand my business online through diverse shipping options which was communicated and educated from an employee at this shop.I know it's a bit silly to type, but my life wouldn't be the same without this shop and the people who work there. They have been a consistent shining light on my life and my work.Thank you for all that you do!

I only leave reviews when I am either impressed, or completely appalled. In this instance, it’s the latter.I was abused by a staff member when I was trying to lodge a $3.10 green tracked envelope. I understand that the envelopes can only fit letters of up to 5mm in width. However, as a customer who has never posted the type of envelopes before, I’d also appreciate some patience. Instead, a staff member had no patience, snapped at me for trying to fit my cards into an envelope, and demanded I pay $5 for the medium envelope.In case you’re unaware, we’re in a cost-of-living crisis, honey. I can’t afford to pay an additional $2 when the person buying my goods has already negotiated down the price by $10. Your kindness and patience when delivering customer service is greatly appreciated and needed.I’m one and done with Australia Post Chermside.

Service was okay although I never got my passport photo (email copies). I just hope they don’t charge extra for itI went back less than hour to ask whether they’d put the right email address although I was quickly dismissed and told it takes 1-2 hours for Gmail to receiveToday I found printed on the hard copies is the wrong gmail address of mine they’d sent to.. double L for gmail!On call enquiries advised to personally go back as they do not keep record or copies, as suchYou double check but they should triple checkHope this helps

Terrible customer service. We arrived at the post office at 11:45am to lodge passport applications for our two children (8 months and 2 years), it was our understanding the store closed at 12.30pm. We waited in the line for 15mins only for a staff member to come out and say that no more passport applications would be accepted today, despite the store not closing for another 30mins. We had been waiting with our two young children and were the only people in the line that needed to have passport documents lodged. There was zero compassion to the fact we had already waited 15mins and had our two young children with us. This store does not offer appointments for passport applications and didn’t even close for another 30mins.

all the staff are nice and friendly except for shereny if i am not wrong with her name.she is the black lady with very short hair.i think she needs to be retired and be replaced by someone else who can work better.she is not nice at all.she doesn’t know anything about customer service .
