I bought first pair of their shoes about a week ago, staff was so friendly with choosing the color and size (I have small feet so it’s not always easy!)They understand process of making and working with artisan directly which made it more special.It is so comfortable and goes well with many styles as well. Highly recommended.Thank you for Akana handcrafts for beautiful shoes and looking forward to receive my 2nd pair soon :)

Beautiful designed and hand made shoes! Very comfortable to wear. The owners helped a lot to find the right size and color for my mom & myself. Also helped to get a customized size for me & shipped overseas. Amazing service! Definitely will come back again for another pair!

Love the shoes! Very comfortable and high quality handmade shoes, sold by a lovely couple. Customised colour and combination is also available with lots of colour options. I got mine custom-made with half navy and half brown.

Such a beautiful leather shoe store in South melbourne markets.AKANA has a large variety of colours and I just can't stop buying shoes for myself and my partner from here. Even their sandals and bags are absolutely gorgeous. They look so good with everything and the owners have a fantastic style themselves and can show you how to style them with your outfits.Fantastic variety, comfortable shoes and great customer service! Got to give them 5 stars!

Akana Handcrafts sell such beautiful shoes. I have purchased from their Barefoot shoe range, (amazing and rare to be able to find beautiful shoes in a barefoot style), and I absolutely love them: they have a quality of craftsmanship that is not easily found these days, and are so comfortable. Can and Serenay are lovely people to work with: they make the extra effort to help and provide an excellent service. Communication is always easy and clear. It’s wonderful to find a small artisanal business like this, and I am very happy to support them. Highly recommended!

Found this wonderful eco friendly shoe shop at South Melbourne markets. Owners Serenay and Can were very helpful ensuring I was happy with size and colour. I'm very particular about shoes so was delighted as these were so comfortable I bought 2 pairs at the shop and ordered a third. Communication was great and service very quick. Highly recommend.
