Chandler View circuit walk

The long point campground offers two major walking tracks- Chandler view circuit and Cassinia walk- which are 5 and 1.5 km, respectively. We did the longer tract which took us about 2 hours. The route could undeniably be traced but the signage was limited.The beautiful part was the varied vegetations and bird sounds, even though I couldn’t identify the birds. The views of the mountains and valleys from certain points on the track were spectacular. The walk is smooth as the vegetation cover gives good protection from the sun.Beware, some places have loose soils and gravels while some other parts run over stiff cliffs, especially at the Chandler river lookout point. Need to be extra cautious with kids!
