Traditional Verandahs & Carports

Paige and Wayne coordinated all aspects of my new bullnose carport. The process commenced with attention to detail to ensure the design complemented the style of my house. The quote was very competitive. The team managed all aspects of design, approval, delivery and construction and kept me informed at all times. The finished product is quality and was completed within two working days. My overall impression is Traditional Verandahs & Carports are an exceptional company that focuses on the customer, quality products and workmanship. Well done to the team.

We recently had our roof and verandah replaced by Traditional Verandahs and Carports. They did an excellent job and the house now looks like new. We were pleased with the attention to detail with the stepped chimney flashing and scribing of the ridge capping. Wayne and Brodie visited on a regular basis to ensure everything was progressing well.

The traditional Group installed a new bullnose carport, and also veranda across the side and back of my property. It was a significant span of roofing, but now complete, looks as though it was original design. 26 Angas St Alberton is anyone wants a look!!

I had Traditional supply and install a carport. The design reflected the period of the house. They turned up on time, communicated clearly and were professional throughout the project. I have no hesitation in recommending them. Good people to deal with.

Wayne and his team are fantastic! Family owned business and good at what they do.

UPDATE: Since my review and Traditional Verandah's response (the first response/communication received for well over a year and 18 months after my initial contact regarding the problem), I contacted Traditional Verandahs again (as requested - they did not call me to try and remedy) and this time (presumably due to my review) Traditional Verandah's actually arranged for Brodie to contact me and review the poor work they'd completed. I make the assumption this happened as a result of the review as I had been requesting this well over 18 months ago. I note Traditional Verandah's state in their response (below) that 'customer service is our priority' - this was not unfortunately my experience. Despite all of this, I have changed the star rating from one star to 3 stars (very generous I believe under circumstances) due to Brodie's recent communication, Brodie organising for the problem to be remedied and Brodie appearing genuinely remorseful things got to the point they did and his commitment to not let anything like this happen again in the future. The downpipes now appear to meet what was agreed and hopefully won't leak! I wish Brodie well in the future and I believe he wishes to make a difference and ensure no problems like I experienced occur again.EARILER REVIEW: Work completed was not what was agreed and quoted for (it was agreed/contracted that downpipes would not be visible when standing on verandah) and the work which was completed (not as agreed/quoted) is beyond substandard. Downpipes now leak more than prior to the work being completed. In fact water now pours with force out of downpipes onto ground adjacent to house. I brought this to Raylene's attention and was promised the work they completed would be remedied. Raylene noted/agreed the work they completed was substandard and also noted there was a 5 year warranty. Despite numerous promises, the work was never completed/remedied and then Raylene ceased returning calls and texts. Would never use this company again and do NOT recommend. I also note the premises they were 'working' from on Unley Road is now empty and looking for new tenants.

Excellent customer service, high quality product and installation and looks great. Honest, patient and very helpful throughout, I would definitely recommend them.

I was very happy with the job the Traditional Verandah Group did for us. Generally I hate working with builders and tradies who can be arrogant ripoff merchants. But that wasn’t me experience with Traditional. Starting with the quote, Wayne worked with us to achieve our vision. The price was good. Once we accepted the quote I was super impressed with the professional way the council approval was handled. Then we had a date for the material to arrive - and it did, along with a reminder a week before. There was a hiccup with supply of the roofing (bloody covid no doubt) but the communication from the office staff was always excellent - and that makes a difference. The guys who built the veranda were all very nice, professional and accommodating - that makes a difference too. The end result was transformative and the cherry on top of the cake in what was otherwise, at times quite a stressful renovation.

(See photos) I have never seen such poor work as a tradesman.They use cheap subcontractors who did a poor job and dont care so long as they get their money.After we provided them with a key to use the ammenities they left our front door wide open with the key in lock after leaving site the first day.Our sensor light was unnecessarily removed without permission, and I was told it had been done by an electrician. As I am an electrician I checked this to find that a cable had been cut in the roof space and it left unterminated and live presenting a very dangerous hazard with risk of electric shock or fire.After communications broke down we dont feel there is any way to resolve this with the company and will have the work rectified in future when extending the house.
