My friend and I were disappointed with the lontong and mee siam. Gravy or sauce was diluted, and it didn't taste right as though some ingredient was missing. We also did a takeaway of the Assam fish and rendang but those were also below standard. Service was unfortunately unpleasant as well. We were the first customers to walk in and order our food but when 2 other regular customers walked in immediately after we had ordered, they were served their drinks first and instead of making our drinks next, they chose to take orders from a 3rd customer! So we waited more than 10 minutes for teh tarik! Needles to say I'm never going back there again.

nice little cosy corner in Bentley. love the simple menu they have, and the taste was pretty good too. they are also constantly adding new dishes to the menu, which i reckon is good. plus, they do have a little Western menu -- the Roast Beef is definitely a must try.closed on Tuesdays (update: and now on Wednesdays too), they open every other day at 10am (8am on the weekends) and closes late at 10pm.(update) previously cash only, they now accept EFTPOS.

Quick & swift service, one of the cheapest breakfast in Perth that you can get on the weekend. Do come early as the food sells out fast & it gets very busy even on a cold wet winter morning..

What a lovely thing to have in life when roti chanei (Indian pan-fried round bread) and curry dishes are in front of you giving irresistible aroma. The roti is priced at $5/piece, $8/2-pices on a weekday, but is specially priced at $3/ piece on weekends from 8 AM to 11 AM, and that includes weekend $3 Nasi Lemak too. What more would you expect to dine in for a nice $3 meal. (Hey mate! this $3 includes cooking, serving, cleaning your table, washing up the plate and cutleries). Rated 4 for the food, rated 5 for the unbelievable price. By the way, you may expect a long queue in the morning during the weekends. Cio!

Nice cosy corner with friendly owner and chef. Interesting to have nescafe tarik as one of the drink options. I loved their beef rendang, sup ekor, ayam percik, nasi lemak special and lontong special. The only let down was the mee siam which tasted like a very coconutey curry bee hoon.I travelled all the way from Wanneroo on a friend's recommendation and wasn't disappointed. A definite must try.

The inside space was nice but the outside space was quite dirty. The service was not good. They didn’t have a physical menu so you will need a mobile phone with a QR scanner to scan the menu to view it on your phone. Customers who came after us has gotten their food earlier than us. The wait time was about 45-50 minutes for a not very crowded restaurant when we arrived. Food was delicious and serving portion was pretty good. The teh Tarik and happy soda was also good. Food quality 4 stars but service 2 stars. So much potential to do better by improving the quality of service. I would still recommend this place for a try because the food was excellent and supporting local businesses through the pandemic is important.

I really would like to give this place a higher review, they make some of my favourite dishes here! But the last 3 or 4 times the food has not impressed me, and while the service is always very friendly, it really comes out so slowly, to the point where the food came out so slowly the waitress had actually forgotten to prepare the dessert by time we had finished the mains. Plenty of other Malaysian cuisine restaurants that will do a better job, much faster.
