What does it take to get through to your store? I have made many, many calls this morning. Firstly the 1300 number. This got me absolutely no where as the same department I was put through twice to didnt even bother to answer their phones. I then rang the two local numbers advertised on the website only to be met with engaged signals. I called those numbers several times. So I called the 1300 number again to ask for management and I was put through to the online department!!!! I asked him to put me through to management. He went to call them. I was waiting on the line for a few minutes, then it went dead. I have given up in total frustration as I have wasted so much time and am still no better off than when I started forty minutes ago. These big department stores have now become so impersonal with their 1300 numbers. Goodness knows how much I am paying for the call and then waiting to find out no one bothers to answer the phone.A BIG THUMBS DOWN to all these big conglomerates who really don’t care about the customer. It’s no wonder you’re going broke, you just don’t care!

Update:They are so understaffed.I saw a poor old lady wandering around calling out for service for ages... along with other customers looking and waiting for service. This happens almost every time I go in a Myer.The staff at this particular store are still kind and helpful when you do find one, but it's obvious how overwhelmed they are.This complain is for the management:Please prioritize your customer service. It's way more important than all the silly advertising strategies and marketing schemes. You are losing loyal customers!!---Excellent service! And very well stocked with lots of variety of brands. I find it to be better than the other Myer stores around Sydney... not too busy, not too quiet (usually means very limited stock and no staff around to help you). I was looking for some presents and not sure about sizes, and the lady was extremely helpful.

Pros:Perfect location. Good variety and price range. I like the sale offers here. Have all for men, women and kids. To add the staffs are really good. Grab a coffee or a mill tea and just keep on shopping. Good range of perfumes too. Also the same for shores and designer bags for ladies.Cons:Should give more discounts for regular customers. Also should have seating space.

Absolutely terrible, terrible Customer Service. I tried to contact Myer Macquarie by phone & got a recorded message directing me to ask for a certain Department which was very inadequate. Being unable to get through to the relevant Dept. I tried again only for my call being directed to Myer Western Australia. Once again I tried to call Macquarie Centre, Myers with my call then going through to Myers Melbourne. A Lady there said that she would connect me to Myer Macquarie Centre but after 15 mins waiting I just gave up. This Customer Service is beyond a joke! It's just terrible!! A Customer should be able to ring & connect with the Store they require,then ask for the Department that they need & have someone answer the Phone. Something needs to be done about this. Voice Automated Customer Service" is just beyond what is reasonable. Shame on the Management of Myers. Endeavour to fix this situation up as it's beyond being efficient! All of this is not for the Customers. It's all about Employees at the Store concerned NOT having to answer the Phone. Obviously this is what big Business is all about these days ---No Customer Service

Disappointing experience! Came to Myer (Macquarie) to buy a pair of jeans but was unable to find my size on the racks. I went to the counter and asked for help, but despite there being no other customers, no staff was able to help me. By the time someone was able to assist me, there were already 5 people in line waiting to pay, while there was only one staff attending to customers. I was asked again to wait until I asked them again if they could check if the size I wanted was in stock. Turns out, most staff in the ‘women’s’ section were responsible for the kids section! Why are there 5 staff members in the kids section but only one worker in the women’s section in the middle of a weekday!!!! Store clearly lacks proper management. After several minutes, I was later told that they did not have the size in stock! Was seriously tempted to go to David Jones instead!!

Today I was served by Lana in the Chanel section and she was the most helpful and loveliest server! Knowledgeable about the cologne I was looking for and focused on serving me the entire time. She took her time wrapping it nicely and then helped me sign up to become a member. Probably one of the best experiences I’ve had at Myer and it’s all thanks to Lana!

What an awful pick up experience. In the middle of a weekday when the store was relatively empty, there were 6 people waiting at the Myer Hub. I waited for at least 20 minutes to be served, at the start because there was only one person at the (very unruly and messy) counter. As some more staff members dawdled in and out of the counter with some people serving and others doing god-knows-what-else, I got the impression that not everyone knew what they were doing. The person who had some idea was both serving customers and teaching his colleagues, which delayed the process even more. I'm reluctant to go back so I don't have to stand in that line of frustration again.
