My husband has motor neurone disease and has little movement from the neck down) For us to go away, we need to take a specialised electric bed, wheel chairs, a hoist, recliner, tables etc) We confirmed 24 hrs in advance for a Saturday 12pm pick up.We called several times on the day (when no one arrived and no call to us to let us know) to be told firstly there was a delay. Secondly there was a further delay and they’d be there between 5-6pm. And finally that they were not coming.That they would be there 7am Sunday and not one second later. When asked what number we could call if no one turned up they said 100% they would be there. They arrived just before 9am.We had people waiting at the other end to help. People who wasted hours of their own time.We lost $300 on our Saturday night accommodation, a Christmas gathering Saturday night and a Christmas party $80 on Sunday.The moving guys were good, but the company show no care for their clients. At one point the lady Karen hung up on my husband.Poor poor poor.I’d give 0 stars if I could.

The movers were late and charged me for longer than they should have.The movers only worked one at a time while the other one had a break even though I was being charged a lot while they were just resting. They took 3 hours to get to my new house even though it took me 1.5 hours and charged me for the extra time. When the accounts team over charged me a significant amount they wouldn’t reply to emails or return calls to sort out the correct amount. Over all very unhappy and do not recommend them to anyone.

DO NOT USE!! Warning! All good reviews are fake!Do NOT use these guys. When they take your call, they promise you that their service is great and that they use their own removalist, not subcontractors. Which is a lie.On the day of the move, 2 Indian guys came to pick and pack my things but they said they never agreed to pack. They offered me cash and in hand and they made me cancel and get my deposit back. I was not comfortable doing this but I had no choice as I needed to move.During the moving process, the guys did not go a good job. They were rough with my things, they made a mess and they also took a 2.5 hour lunch break. They also demanded I pay them once they loaded everything in the truck and threatened not to move my things until they were paid. The whole experience was terrible. They were late and they didn’t speak English. They would constantly yell at each other.When I complained to the customer service, the marketing manager was not nice. She was rude and basically hung up on me.Spend the extra money and get a professional company

Left other people's furniture at our place worst experience I have ever had DO NOT USE wrong size truck 4hrs late anyone recommending work for them they are not movers they sub contract to anyone with a truck and constantly ring them holding up your move

Needed to change to the following day due to truck breakdown. No packing involved as I’d already done it myself and I needed the heavier furniture moved. The crew that I had the day of the rescheduled move were on time, courteous, efficient and a big help.

A rather stressful experience for me, I was booked at the 1-2pm timeslot and after several calls and frustrated messages I was told they would be there at 7pm.True enough, 7pm they were there. Truck was sufficient size, the lads moved the furniture and packed the van well, but by the time we all got to the new unit, they were all wrecked and took longer - but I sympathise for them. I offered them some pizza at 8.30pm as they had been working since 7am.What could have been improved was the overall communication - a text message indicating how long I would have to wait would have been appreciated.A few bumps and bruises on my furniture, but I'm not so worried about that - I would not use this company again.

Run away!It took 9 hours to move a 2 bedroom apartment locally. The truck was too small and two trips had to be done. Even though their hourly rate was very good, it cost over $1000.But, the movers themselves were very good, careful with the furniture and didn't mark any walls.The company sent an invoice with direct deposit details so I paid off the invoice before I realised they had taken the amount from our credit card. My mistake, but in my 15 calls over 2 weeks and numerous emails to their many addresses, I did not have one response to organise a refund for the double payment. I was actually hung up on 3 times, having never raised my voice or been demanding.My bank have taken this over and am waiting to hear if they are able to obtain the amount I over paid.Check out their Facebook page, the don't allow reviews and I suspect this is intentional.Run away!

I would not recommend this company. They arrived 2 hours late with very little communication or apology, and refused to discount due to the late arrival. When they arrived they then explained that I needed to pay for 1hr labour in cash, and when I explained I had not been advised of this, they basically threatened not to complete my move and hold my belongings hostage in the truck. They complained extensively throughout the move and seemed to drag out the time it took - by insisting on taping my boxes twice, talking to me about the weather, only 1 person working while the other stood around. I have used another company (Two Men and a Truck) who were much faster, more professional and on time. They did not offer to assemble my furniture - but I would not have asked them to considering how slowly they worked.

Booked actually for 8am, 9-Dec-2020, I got a call on the previous day about a possible delay of half a day. Though it's totally inconvenient for us, I agreed to 1.30pm as I had no choice just one day in hand. I called at 11:30 on THE DAY to confirm they're coming as planned. The lady said the truck won't arrive before 3pm for some reason a customer has no business with. I was frustrated as we were already sitting with 2 kids, in a completely dismantled home with a closed kitchen for many hours. Again all my attempts to find an different service provider failed as it was too late. Now I called at 3 as there was no sign of a truck. Remember, all these calls were from my side. They never bothered to call me. This time they missed the 3pm truck and were clueless. With 30 minutes of furious phone conversation we got some who appears to be a manager. He came up with another schedule: 5pm. By then, we had lost all hope on these guys and checked at 4:30pm as I'm pretty sure they will close and leave with the satisfaction of screwing one more family sharp at 5pm no matter what. I was right. They didn't pick up. They didn't pick up multiple calls from a customer who's waiting for their truck already delayed by 8hrs and 30 min. I tried from a different number and this time they picked unknowingly. The latest answer was the truck is cancelled and they can't serve me that day !! I didn't have a kitchen, no bed to sleep for my kids and they sounded so insensitive to my situation. That assures me that what I faced is usual for them. Now after bringing in my plan to go legally against them they agreed to send a smaller truck at 6:30pm. Finally it came by 7pm. It was obviously small for my needs and had to leave many stuffs behind. We struggled to make 2 trips in 2 cars to vacate the home completely next day for cleaning.So my advice for others is NEVER consider My Movers. If you don't find anyone else, wait and live where you live until you find someone else.

Absolutely terrible experienceCancelled on me last minute (at 5pm) and advised they would return the next day - an unacceptably huge inconvenience. After expressing my disdain I was only offered a discount of $20 per hour and minimal apologyRemovalists the next day were over an hour late, inexperienced and unprofessional. Tried to convince me to take my TV in my own car “because of insurance” and couldn’t figure out how to get my couch in the lift - despite it being delivered to me fully assembled in the same lift. Tried to suggest they would take it down 34 flights of stairs before I myself figured out how to fit in the the lift (turn it upside down..)Impossibly slow, taking over 5 hours to move a 1 bedroom apartment 6km up the road.Was called multiple times by head office for “feedback” which I had only negative things to say obviously - they wanted me to suggest the issue was solely with the contractors and not the company itself.There are government warnings and current affairs news program pieces about this company and for good reasonIf I could give less than 1 star I would
