I should have learned my lesson the last 4 times I've come to get my hair cut here. I'm done with royal jims. Doesn't matter what shop i go to or what barber cuts my hair it's always the same thing. I just want my hair done properly and it just doesn't happen here.

No appointments. The 2 hairdressers showed detailed attention to their customers, asking them if they were satisfied or if more could be done. What I thought was going to be a short wait was not. This was fine and good to know they took care of those in the chair. Appointments would help the long waits

I've been a loyal client at Royal Jims for the last 4 years. After waiting for over an hour on a Thursday morning they let 2 clients cut in front of me. When it happened for the second time I said something and they just ignored me. It's not difficult to give everyone a number and call those numbers in order. Very poor management.

Royal Jims Barber in Lansel Square Bendigo has been poor in managing customers esp during closure time.Further noticed that there is price hike for a hair cut, Whilst I appreciate the price hike and am supportive of it as a community, what I don't appreciate is being returned from the store 40 mins before the closure time.This has happened twice with me, once 20 mins prior to closure and other day at least 40 mins before closure of the store.I was at the store at 4:45 pm but it was busy so thought of finishing up few errands, returned to the store at 5:20 pm and the beautiful lady kindly said Sorry we are not taking any customers" I asked "what time does it close" and her response was same "Sorry we are not taking any customers"They expect us to wait in queue for 20 -30 mins when its peak time ~which most of us would happily do

Poor hair cutting, ? If the guy that cut my hair was even qualified, cut way more off than asked to and hair all chopped up, and uneven, now hard to style. Will never use again.

Went today with my son. Sat for about 15-20 minutes. Hair cut Was quick and well done. The price was great. Will be back

Tried to walk In at 5:30 to get a cut, trading hours say 6 and doors still open with 2 people standing around doing absolutely nothing only to be told nope we closed for the day, walk back past 25 minutes later so they should still technically be open and the same 2 guys still standing there doing nothing with doors still open. Might seem petty but will never again give this place my business

I have walked past this store for so long, i decided to give them a shot cause I love the whole urban barber revival. I walked in with no appointment on the spare of the moment.Was greeted by fiendly staff and was shown to a seat straight away. My barber was very open that he was an apprentice and was I ok with that. Great conversation and a great hair cut and beard trim. I was a little nervous about the beard trim but he put me at ease trimming in very small steps and checking i was happy . Cut throat razor on the back of the neck and ptoduct . Ill go back again for sure.Give these guys a go for sure

I enjoy having my haircut at Royal Jim's, but I waited in line for an hour to get my kids haircut and was told at the door We don't do girls hair cuts." A sign would have been good so I could have avoided the waste of time."
