Best authentic Thai food in the kingcriff!! We ordered combination fried rice, stir fried duck, golden bags and papaya salad all food was amazing and big portions. I had the best night there and staffs are amazing and MasterChef Michelle she is amazing cook. Highly recommended I definitely going back there every time I visit kingcriff.

Have ordered from Michelle many times in the last few years. The best Thai food in Kingscliff, and the best Thai food I have ever had. The chicken golden bags are amazing, as are the fried rice and curry dishes. Always fresh and cooked to perfection.

The seafood curry was beautiful and the fried rice was among the best I’ve had. I also enjoyed the BBQ duck.The rest of the things we tried included oyster beef, assorted entrees, sweet and sour chicken and and stale prawn chips for $5. These were all sub par or below average for taste. The prawn spring rolls, prawn chips and chicken toast were not worth buying.Unfortunate but if your looking for a tasty curry, that was good

We are Kingscliff locals and absolutely love the food we’ve been to Thailand many times and know this food is authentic.The lady’s work so hard in the kitchen bravo to themFavourite dishes are entree Golden money bags and mains Garlic king prawnsWith there amazing coconut rice and out little one loves the pad ThaiThank you Ladies

Had an early dinner at Chiang Mai Thai with a group of 8 adults and 4 children. We had to prompt the staff that we wanted to place a drinks order otherwise we may not have got drinks. There was no mention of more drinks from then onwards, they missed some opportunities there with us. The entrees came out with no plates as we were all sharing which the staff knew about. We used serviettes? Which was not a great start.The dish portions were are small we had to order 2 more rice and another noodle dish as they were all small. Some of the food wasn’t hot? The food overall was very ordinary. It was almost like they had little to no experience of having groups dine in. There were plenty of takeaways while we were there I’d recommend take away if you’re feeling like Thai at Kingscliff.

Being locals, we know it is hard to get decent Thai food in this town. The lady who served us was very lovely, however they had run out of lamb so I had a takeaway beef Massaman curry which was so watery and quite pathetic, supposedly medium curry tasted very mild.The portion size was so small it seems that the containers are getting smaller and the prices are getting higher. I can make this at home twice as good, which is whatI will be doing in the future. On a positive note, the cab sav red wine we had at home was quite beautiful.Not returning ever.

My family and I have eaten at many Thai restaurants and know what a good curry and coconut rice should taste like. Unfortunately for us, the Lamb Massaman and the Panang curries were the worst we've ever eaten. The taste was almost missing completely and what little taste we detected was just....wrong. The yellow curry was about a 5/10. The coconut rice was far from perfect too. One of our party had chicken stir fry that contained chicken pieces that had not been cooked properly.Perhaps they were just having a bad day, but it was enough to scare us off for good - sorry!
