Poor customer service. Rang 6.39pm Friday night 24/2 and told could not take booking as office closed - but knew there was a ground floor room vacant for our Sunday night arrival. Was told she will ring us back at 9.00 am next day. By 11 am - next morning I rang them and left my details on an answering machine for a return call. Rung them again at 2.30 pm Saturday 25/2 and spoke with the same lady who vaguely remembered call, then remembered it and said she will ring back in 5 minutes. Guess what - we are still waiting and at 4pm we booked at another Motel in the town. We have stayed at this Motel several times before but certainly won’t be coming back to them

Very noisy room! With poor curtains! Old noisy air conditioner!The external shades that were there didn’t work and we had an upstairs west facing room ! Not good.The staff were very confused about my request for the type of accommodation we were seeking, for our extended family.My booking was made by phone to the motel ten weeks in advance !My niece booked online and got a refurbished room with much better facilities!Unfortunately there were many mistakes and misunderstandings!I felt they were bring Agist towards me because I’m of rather mature years !!!Never fear ! .. on our way out of town we looked at the many other delightful motels ! So we know where we WON’T be staying next time!

Well provided room with good towels. Air con was very noisy and didn't reach most of the room. We had no contact with any staff.

Our room had not been cleaned.. rubbish bins were still full and there were mushrooms growing in the shower

I recently stayed at a motel and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The room was spotless and well-maintained, with all the basic amenities that I needed. The bed was comfortable and I slept soundly throughout my stay.The staff was also very friendly and accommodating. They were always available to answer any questions I had and were very helpful in providing recommendations for local attractions and restaurants.In terms of location, the motel was perfectly situated. It was close to a number of restaurants and shops, as well as popular tourist destinations. I was able to explore the area easily and had a great time doing so.Overall, I highly recommend this motel to anyone looking for affordable and comfortable accommodations. The staff, location, and amenities were all top-notch and I look forward to staying here again in the future.

Stayed at Riverina on trip to Melbourne in December. Old owners still there. Excellent room and food. Stayed there again coming back to Queensland. Mistake. Beef stew was almost inedible. So tough. Husband d had fish and chips and they were terrible. Room had socket pulled from wall. Will not stay there again.

We have stayed here a number of times over the years and enjoyed the experience, clean, good location, etc. But this time the motel looked tired". The front door squeaked (loudly) when it was opened or closed. The door could not be deadlocked

We really enjoyed staying here. Rooms are clean, tidy, tastefully decorated and well appointed. The staff are also very friendly, helpful and are great to talk with. Thankyou.

Originally planned on staying a night but our 3 months old had fever and we had to push through to Melbourne.When I finally got through to a staff after hours of trying, the female staff was extremely rude and abrasive. She kept on repeating she can’t cancel my reservation and won’t be able to refund me. At no stage did she bother to ask why and was only worried that I ask for a refund.At no point did I ask for a refund as I know I cancelled the booking at the last minute. It was a mere courtesy call so they can let the room out if they wish but the attitude of the staff really left a sour taste.
