A real hidden gem. A beautiful cozy cabin with a pot belly stove to keep the cold at bay. Very relaxing. Close to town and the night time stars were amazing.

You know those places that you stay away in .. and it just feels like home? Well, this is here. Its quiet, with glorious views over the valley. Its warm with a wood heater and hot hot shower. Its so incredibly well equipped with everything you can think of. And ... so close to all the great places to see in the New England. You get the picture. Its a must-stay.

Annabelle and David have gone to every length to make their cottage the most well appointed farm stay in the business. Set on their gorgeous working cattle farm in the northern NSW highlands between Guyra and Glen Innes, the cottage is warm, homely and inviting. Every detail has been thought about from individual phone chargers through to a well stocked pantry and kitchen with everything you need to prepare your own meals. Comfy beds, generous balcony space and lounges to enjoy the view of the farm and range and some gorgeous little touches to make it their own from recovered farm machinery parts adorning the door as handles through to the one off pot belly fire place made by Annabelle's father. A fantastic cook, the home cooked evening meals, dessert and breakfast spread on offer are excellent. All the little touches make this a fantastic stay that i plan to utilize regularly while visiting the highlands

Dave and Annabelle are so welcoming. The self contained modern cottage is warm and inviting. Scrumptious homemade meals are available on request. Our second stay and we will definitely be back.

What a beautiful part of the world to sit back and relax! Thank you Annabelle and Dave for having us to stay. Amazingly warm and welcoming hosts. The peace and quiet of a farm is just what was needed. The kids and dog had a wonderful time playing in the secure yard and riding bikes up and down the driveway. The cabin is so beautifully presented, clean, tidy and all the amenities you need. The amazing breakfast hamper we ordered was loaded with fresh ingredients and the homemade sausages were delicious. Annabelle also has some lovely homemade goodies for sale that are well worth treating yourself too. Thanks again, we are hoping we will be back again soon.

Beautiful location, beautiful hosts, far enough off highway to be peaceful but not out of the way either. Perfect for a road trip stopover. Give yourself enough time to enjoy the place

Another fabulous stay. Couldn’t get a cleaner and more comfortable stay or better hosts. Warm cottage, fantastic outlook, we feel so comfortable and the shower is wonderful also! A home cooked meal by the fire is perfection. This isn’t our halfway stop any longer - it’s a destination. See you next time :)

We stayed 4 nights at this beautiful cabin and loved it. Only a short drive into Glen Innes for a meal but feel like a million miles away. The cabin very comfy and has everything you need cook and relax. It was a great base to explore the area. We will be back

My husband and l had a wonderful cosy stay, unfortunately only for one night as we are passing through. Had a beautiful home cooked roast lamb dinner and dessert. What a wonderful tranquil place. Thanks to our hosts Annabelle and Dave.

Incredible farmstay experience - Kai Iwi is a fantastic, cosy getaway. The cabin is well appointed and everything has been thought of. Enjoy the pot-belly fireplace or the outdoor firepit on a cool evening. The food hampers are full of delicious local produce, give them a go. We'll be staying again for sure!
