Karl Chehade Dry Cleaning

Very impressed with the customer service I received today. I had a puffer jacket that had some slight marks remaining (barely noticeable, and I would have been happy to accept it as-is, as it was an “at clients own risk” item due to its labelling), the lady working the front desk showed zero defensiveness when I pointed this out, nor did she ever bring up the waiver I’d signed at drop off stating no guarantees on the item.. which I was expecting. She offered to get the owner, and it was the same level of service from her- zero attitude, and her whole demeanour made it clear she was only interested in fixing the problem and us leaving happy. Very warm and friendly and completely professional. It’s a $20 item and I’m a first time customer, she could have apologised and sent me on my way, and not have lost a dime, but instead has offered to dry clean (vs wash) it complimentary, stating she would hand it to the cleaners herself so she could explain how to treat.I have a decent amount of designer clothing I have brought over with me from the US, and I know this is somewhere I will trust with those items when I need those dry cleaned.

Silk pyjamas came back as good as new.

Terrible service. Don't follow instructions. Ruined a very expensive tailored 3 piece Virgin Wool Hugo Boss suit. Unprofessional and suggest strongly avoiding them.

I’ve literally paid a man in Thailand to slap my clothes against a rock and received better service than they offer here. Karl Chehade is a chain and it’s obvious. I liken them to cold chips from KFC. They ruined my some of my favourite clothes and refused reimbursement. Do not go here. Go to a small business that cares, even a small amount about you.

Had my silk top drycleaned recently which was unfortunately damaged. Although dissapointing, Chehade was understanding and offered a reasonable goodwill gesture to compensate for the inconvenience. Handled proffessionally and appreciated their ability to find a solution.

For some reason the original writing left.This place took over 4 months to do a wedding dress when given a time frame of 1-2monthsNow this isn't the major issue. The issue is that we were never contacted upon completion of the dress like we were originally told we would be. We ended up calling the shop to be told oh we usually don't call our clients when it's finished" okay so you just want to keep it there?I was told that they usually just wait for us to collect it. And it's standard procedure not to contact a client unless they specificied. Well first of all I did. And second of all who wants to just leave their dry cleaning there especially when you've gone over time.Will leave an updated review upon pickup of the dress shortly regarding quality"

Fabulous communication by Karl Chehade’s State Manager Tina Phillips. Excellent customer service and attention to detail in resolving an issue. We wouldn’t go anywhere else for dry cleaning.

I recently brought in a blanket that was labelled 'dry clean only'. I advised the staff member that there were some small stains but unsure what. She told me that they make no promises to removing stains. I still went ahead and handed over the blanket. I had to wait nearly 2 weeks before I could pick it up. The blanket was wrapped in plastic. I paid over $20.On arrival home I unwrapped the blanket and it smelt disgusting, of dirty clothe and socks.I had to air it outside on the clothesline, it has been over 24hours and the smell lingers. I am considering dousing the blanket in perfume!Furthermore the stains remain as they were prior to the 'dryclean'.Rubbish service , the blanket came back in a worse state. Please think again about using this business, I wish I could give this business 0 stars as my blanket is worse off since coming into contact with this business
