Hann River Roadhouse

Very rude male staff member. If staying in dongas be aware not to use unsigned (at the time) shipping container to make a coffee and toast. We had our own cups, coffee etc. Apparently general public were not allowed to use (even though we were told we could). Was for Road Tek staff apparently, not for other guests staying there . Were told we should be buying breakfast there. In all the 45 years of travelling never had such an upsetting stay. There was a mix up on their end regards to our booking and they gave us an extra single donga which we appreciated, but then that was thrown back in our face. It was all our fault. I hope the $10 i gave them covered the cost of turning on the kettle and pushing button on toaster once. Wont be going back which is a shame as we had stayed twice before years back and had been looking forward to returning. Ps. Was told for every bad review, they get 10 good ones. Good luck to them. Good idea also not to blame each other for their bad service. Also people staying in their rooms are guests not general public.

Stopped for a coffee and breakfast. Ham cheese tomato toasty , very nice. Huge coffee for a large... beautiful camping area. No free wifi. Great for a visit or stop over.

Great setting with tropical plants and shady trees and a shady area for outdoor dining. .we had sandwiches which were delicious. Excellent facilities that were clean and attractive. .and shady camping area. .

Fabulous coffee, meals and service. Superb camp grounds, unique outdoor showers and lots of wildlife roaming around. Cheap and secure place to leave your van on the way up. Great place to stay. A must stop by location on the way to the tip.

This roadhouse is real outback Australia with its ostrich Ozzie wondering around and ducks,pony, birds including an peacock they have wallaby feeding which was great. The bathrooms are in an container and there’s an open air tin shack shower Rachel was lovely and little Dune. I loved it 4 star if bathrooms facilities were upgraded it would have been a 5 star review all in all fabulous. It is the outback after all. A wonderful memory thank you.

The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the region. Facilities are clean and well-maintained.

Really friendly staff, very welcoming homely feeling.
