Called them and came that afternoonHighly recommend this business

No idea! Go elsewhere.He called to look at our dishwasher in the property we rent, regarding an intermittent problem where it would stop midway through a cycle. Didn’t have the part, so ordered it. A couple of weeks later, came to replace it. Wrong part.Came back a few weeks later with what was apparently the correct part. Replaced it. Guess what - the issue’s still there.Came back a week later, took the dishwasher away. Had it maybe 2 weeks. Replaced something else (apparently). Tested it at his workshop (apparently). Re-installed at our home. Won’t turn on. Blamed our power point so we had a sparky replace it. In the mean time, ran a cord from another power point. It eventually turns on, we run it through a cycle. Guess what happens. SAME F$&@ING ISSUE!We call him back. Don’t know what he does this time but assures us it’s done.It’s not.Call him back again. We’re not at home but leave a key. Leaves a business card and no comment. No work done.We call again, several times. Doesn’t get back to us. Eventually leaves a message with receptionist saying machine is dead, and he wants to replace it.It’s been more than a six month saga. I’m livid. Around ten call-outs, several parts, and god knows how much $$$. I’m not paying, but that doesn’t change the annoyance I feel.We had a similar experience in the past with a front-loader, with multiple parts replaced and the issue coming back repeatedly. Eventually just gave up and bought a new machine. Hence I wouldn’t have called this guy, but it’s not up to me who the owner chooses to repair his stuff.If you can find anywhere else, go there instead.

Great local business, quick and friendly service. Repaired faulty inlet valve of washing machine, and replaced the outlet hose. Bostock's also offers repaired second-hand appliances.

I have used Bostocks twice!Once for my washing machine, which works wonderfully now.And recently for my oven door which smashed just after Christmas Day.Lee-Ann was super helpful, and reliable. She said she would ring me back when the part came in and arrange a time and day. And she did Just that!. I only rang once than Lee-Ann did all the chasing.The gentleman that arrived to replace the oven door, turned up ON TIME! No hanging around all day. Job complete efficiently.Thank you for your wonderful company!It is already hard enough when your appliances don't work and you are tossing up the idea, if I should just buy myself a new one or get it fixed.Totally recommend!
