I recently had an unfortunate experience with Carbar, and I must say that their service left much to be desired. One of the most frustrating aspects was the complete lack of a call-back phone service. Despite their claims of providing support, I found it incredibly difficult to get in touch with anyone from the company.The fact that they asked customers to wait for a call-back phone that never came added to the already poor experience. It's highly frustrating to be left waiting for a response, especially when you have important matters to discuss or urgent issues to address.Furthermore, I couldn't help but notice a connection between Carbar and the RACV claim department. Unfortunately, this connection did not work in favor of the customers. Both Carbar and the RACV claim department exhibited slow processes, which only compounded the frustration. When dealing with car-related matters, it is crucial for the processes to be efficient and timely, but that was not the case here.

I am with this company for two vehicles because it was (WAS) the best option for me. I’d leave 0 stars or negative if possible!I have had one Audi S3 which the engine blew up on because of their mechanic failing to change spark plugs and it breaking in the engine bay. (50,000 kilometres)They replaced it with another Audi S3 which the transmission failed on at only 45000 kilometres.That Audi was replaced with a mustang that I eventually got tired of because I took it back 3 times to them saying it had transmission faults in the learning computer, it went unheard they told me it was normal and tried to made me think I was crazy.When I returned the mustang and took a 4th vehicle a Hyundai, they waited 3 months and are now trying to charge me for excess kilometres on the mustang. No contact, when I call them I leave messages nobody calls back. Now they’re threatening me with debt collection for excess kilometres, think they contacted me back? Nope!This is by far the worst run company, with the worst regard for customer loyalty I’ve ever seen, been with them for over 3 years to be treated like this.Do not ever ever EVER use CarBar, if you can use anything else, a shopping cart would be better!

Thank you to the team at nunawading but mostly Matt. He was incredibly professional from start to finish with helping me purchase my new vehicle and trading in my old one to them! Matt is a great car sales man, listens to the buyer with what they want and isn’t pushy which makes for a really pleasant experience, he even went above and beyond in fixing the wheels on the car I purchased before I picked it up!Thanks Matt!

Really great experience with the service. Emma was amazing in getting the car I wanted and the delivery timeline was a head of schedule, keys and car dropped right to my door within 2 weeks! :DI think I'll be using this for a few years can highly recommend, car was in great condition also!

As a UK national, carbar helped me to get on my feet when I first moved to Australia as I needed a car for work with a flexible subscription and I didn't want to commit to buying a new car. Carbar have been excellent all-round and provided good value for money and great customer service. I want to give a special mention to Garry who I'd called 3+ times to change my subscription end date as I had multiple setbacks from my car dealership. He was great and never once made me feel bad. He made returning the vehicle such an easy process despite the short notice - Cheers Garry!

Innovative new way to own a car although the cost is a very expensive. About two years ago the service was much better value but more recently the prices have gone up significantly to subscribe to the cars.I found a car within the price I wanted to spent and just over a year after having it, I was advised that the car had to be returned due to the age and all similar cars were at least $150 a week more ($600+ a month).Do your sums before using this company as either an outright purchase or car finance will most likely work out far better value.For the same price I paid for a 2018 Volkswagen Polo through Carbar, I was able to finance a 2020 Audi Q5.

The concept looked brilliant until the car was written off (Not at fault). Turns out that the new for old replacement within the first 2 years doesn't mean much! I was advised weeks ago that there was only 1 Kia Rio available in Australia and in bright yellow. I did not accept this and managed to find 3 in one dealer group locally. I secured it by leaving a deposit and signing a contract. Carbar have now come back saying they will not pay that much for the car they could not source. Nothing in the PDS states otherwise. I have been lied to throughout this whole process. My next step is to make a complaint to the motor car traders and AFCA as Carbar have not honoured their own policy.I wouldn't recommend to anyone!!
