Christy was absolutely amazing!! My mum organised a workshop for just her and I one weekend and Christy was extremely accommodating. She setup a private session and helped us with skills and techniques to create functional and stunning pieces. We had made so many amazing things, more than we expected each and loved the glaze that Christy applied. I’d recommend to everyone I know. Definitely worth it!!

I decided to do something different for our 9th wedding anniversary. As it was ceramics I thought this would be fun. And we weren’t disappointed. It may seem intimidating, but Christy was so patient and supportive in showing us the process and helping us out when it nearly went wrong.We had an amazing time and in 2 hours we managed to make some pretty decent things.Absolutely recommend Christy at Seedleaf Designs if you’ve ever wanted to give a potter’s wheel a spin.The much smaller group, just the two of us, meant that we had Christy’s undivided attention.

I organised a session hosted by the lovely Christy for my partners birthday. The session was filled with a peaceful and calming sentiment, that slowly guided the pair of us through the art of pottery, as first timers. While my partner was a lot more of natural, Christy noticed how in parts I was struggling and adjusted her teaching style to suit my needs. She began the session by demonstrating the 3-4 main methods of mastering the clay wheel and then we went onto create how ever many items we could within the session depending on time and expertise! We were lucky enough to make 3 each including a bowl, mug and dish. Along the session she welcomed lovely conversation and also had the chance to drink some tea with her! Thank you again Christy for welcoming us into your studio, we had a great time!

Went there in a group of 4. First time doing pottery and Christy was very patient and encouraging. We had a lot of fun and the pieces turned out great. We got to make about 4 pieces each, and I was most impressed with the glazing work that Christy did. Would definitely recommend this place.

Seedleaf Designs is a beautiful little studio run by the very talented Christy. She created a super special, personalised gift for me and it was absolutely perfect. Christy was wonderful throughout the whole process, she listened to my idea and created something better than I imagined!
