TopRow Melbourne

We enrolled in LTR1 and LTR2 courses with TopRow. Great location, friendly crew and very good instructions which helped us gained confidence on the water. Our courses were disrupted by lockdowns several times but Will has managed it very well with communication and coordination for longer sessions/refund arrangement. We actually liked the 90min sessions more than the usual 60 mins session, longer session gave the crew more time to pick up momentum as a team and more time to practice technics. Will also gave us some tips on indoor rowers at the beginning, which helped tremendously in getting the right movements and built the foundation for how to practice in the gym outside our sessions. I would defiantly recommend TopRow for anyone interested in rowing !

TopRow are the best! the coaches are very patient, fun and skilled. Its also a great sport to get fit that is not high impact. We are very lucky to have this in Melbourne, with really experienced coaches and learning to row on beautiful Yarra River. thanks Will and Dario

I was at the open day the other day and it was my first time rowing ever - I loved it! My instructor was so patient with everyone in the boat and gave everyone a fair go. I have no registered for the Learn to Row course in Jan which I am looking forward to :)

A thoroughly enjoyable course and very highly recommended.It was amazing to learn to row on the mighty Yarra in the heart of beautiful Melbourne after so many months locked down. Such a great way to reconnect with the city.Will and Marcus were brilliant coaches and very patient, considerate and knowledgeable. They made sure the experience very positive and a lot of fun to be part of. Can't wait for LTR 2!

I am a big fan of the TopRow. Just within a few weeks, I improved my time by a lot. The team is amiable and ready to help with a training program, race plan as well as recovery and general advice. Whenever you are looking for rowing stronger and faster or improve a technique, TopRow provides incredible coaching!

Great location and amazing crew! I had no experience with rowing prior to the course, but the instructors helped me build up skills and confidence in the water from day one. Strongly recommended also as a different way to experience the city.

I registered for the Jan-Feb learn to row course 1 and it was really helpful! This was my first few times trying rowing out and I already feel confident in myself to row each week. If you want to start rowing but don’t know how, I highly recommend TopRow - they have great instructors and a very inclusive environment for all people!

Did the Learn to row class 1 in the summer 2022 and both Will and Millie our coach have been nothing but encouraging and made the whole experience enjoyable! Highly recommend if anyone is looking into a new hobby!

Just finished Learn to Row 1 last week and started Learn to Row 2 today. I always wanted to try rowing and TopRow does not only make it easy for anyone to give it a try without joining a club/school but also makes it fun and has a highly motivated crew, helping you to stay afloat and improving every week. Also the location is great and it's just stunning to row on the Yarra with the city views. It is one of my highlights in the week and I'm always looking forward to it. I highly recommend :)
