Chev Hair

Took my son to get a haircut. At $42.95 albeit on a Sunday it still seemed overpriced. Staff were professional enough but not very friendly for a kids haircut.

Disappointed to say the least. My hair came down to my waist I’ve been growing it for years. I asked for a trim, only an inch or two and now it’s above my chest easily 4 inches taken off. So unhappy/plus $75 for it. Next time I’ll just go to JustCuts where it’s only $40 and someone actually listens to me.

If you visit this salon have someone other than the owner/manager Karin do your hair..Even though she claims over 20 years experience, she ruined my hair!..My foils were all over the place & was left with zig zags of untreated hair at the roots, she barely put the scissors through my hair 5 times before claiming my cut was done & while it looked okay styled I could & have done a better job myself..My VIRGIN hair was also extremely burnt which has never happened with foils as I have naturally light hair! (It had been about 8 years since my hair was lightened or dyed)..She got another worker to comb & dry half my head whilst she worked on the other & this worker pulled my hair so hard I had to tell her to stop, not once but three times..Oh, & she had the nerve to charge me almost $300 & this did not include toner or a deep condition..DEVASTATED!!!..I used this salon as my mum sees Bernadette there & always leaves looking great..Never asume that if a hairdresser is good, her boss will be equally as good! Wish I had taken photos but I wasnt going to review & its been too long now..Still traumatised btw.P.S I asked about some of the bad reviews prior to my disasterous experience. Owner claimed those names were never in the books but i do not believe her now.

Recently had my hair done by MICH at Chev hair and she has done the best job ever. My hair has never looked so good. Feel like a million dollars and loving my eyebrows as well. Thank you Mich for a beautiful job and I absolutely love it. The whole service is amazing and I would recommend Chev Hair to everyone. Thank you and love you guys :)

My son was after a haircut on short notice and the first place we came to were these guys.They address me straight away and gave me a short wait time (30mins), seated on time and had a great experience chatting with our stylist and fantastic cut done. Our Hairdresser was amazing!We will be back!

Mich, you did a fab job cutting and styling my husband's hair. By far the best looking haircut he's had to-date.

Mich is a little pocket rocket with finominal razor skills .she done my style exactly to the photos I supplied she has to be one of the very few hairdressers I have been to that has done exactly what was asked ,she has put my faith back with stylist and what's more she didn't talk my ears off !

I think the photo speaks for itself. All I needed was some layering in my hair. Instead she cut so much off and layered so horrifically that I couldn’t even tie it up to cover this disaster.This was also two days before I was to be a bridesmaid at a wedding. To say I was devastated and embarrassed was an understatement.By far the worst haircut I have ever had in my life and I will certainly not be returning.

My partner loves getting his hair cut here.. The ladies are absolutely lovely and they do a great job! (10 year loyal customer)
