Always find what im looking for....Great service

I have supported Reject Shop for many years and have always enjoyed shopping there. great prices and excellent products. UNTIL SUNDAY 19 April 2020. On Friday the 17 April 2020 I shopped at Reject Cowra and purchased a bottle of Lemon Grass Diffuser refill 200ml which was the last one left. I had searched everywhere for Lemon Grass essential oil which was not readily available. I was very excited and chatted to the cash register lady Amie (spelling) and then left the shop after paying for my item. When I got home I realised that I had left my precious find at the store. So I phoned Amie and asked her if my item was there and she replied yes she kept it and that I could come back and collect it. So the very next day a Saturday I dashed off to the shop to collect my item only to find the store shut because of a power shut down. Looking through the plastic sliding door hoping to see someone I saw a man busy at one of the tils. Assuming he must be a manager I knocked on the window and he came and spoke to me through a small hole. I explained my situation to him and went looking for my item which I had paid for but he could not find it. So the very next day being a Sunday I again went back to the store and spoke to a lady Jess or Tess who told me that she was the store manager and not the man I spoke to the day before. OK sorry there was nothing on her badge to say she was the store manager no need to get nasty I thought. Anyway I told her my situation so she looked and looked and could not find it. I then asked her to please phone Amie and ask her where she had put my item.WHICH I HAD PAID FOR. Amie told the Store Manager Jess that she had put it back on the shelf and it must have got sold. I was shocked how can you sell something that had already been sold and paid for. This is tantamount to fraud. it was the only bottle and I needed it desperately for my magnesium bottling. All the other staff standing near by just looked and me and I felt so uncomfortable. I said that Amie could not do that as I had paid for the goods and they were mine. Anyway Jess told me that there was nothing she could do but offer me a refund. Then I went to the back of the store where I had seen a mop that I wanted. It was standing on a shelf next to other boxes of shelf brackets for the mop. At the bottom of the shelf the sticker said $10.00 so I picked one up and went to the till to pay only to find out that it was $15.00. so I told the cashier that's not the price that was reflected. so an assistant went with me to the back and looked at the price tag and told me that the box in fact two of them were in the wrong place and that there were others around the corner reflecting the price $15.00. OK not having a good shopping day at Reject. These things happen, but it was the attitude of the manager and the staff that I found most horrible. No smile no joke. I believe that the Manager Jess should have offered to phone other Reject stores and try to get me another bottle of the product not just buff me off with oh well we will have to give you a refund. Not nice people perhaps they were having a bad day who knows. I only know that it was wrong to sell my product when it was already paid for and that they had boxes of mops in the wrong place with the wrong price tag. No apology no explanation. Don't want to go back feel very uncomfortable.

Staff members very nice. The shop is very tidy and clean. Can always find what I’m looking for.

Favourite shop always something different to see and buy

Lovely quaint old pub from yesteryear. Shared bathroom and toilet. Coffee, tea,cereal on hand along with all dishes and utensils. In the room is the most comfortable queen bed and a two seater vinyl lounge. My time was just recently (winter of course ). You can go out and lounge about on the huge verandah. If you dont wish to dine downstairs there is a bbq on the veranda. Regular key entry in and out. Parking is a non issue. The staff here a fab. Nothing is too much of an effort all you have to do is ask. I myself will definitely come back to stay again.20 mins from Cowra and all the shops or go the other way and there is young.

As good as any Reject Shop except it's a bit small and lacking in variety compared to others.
