Goldfields Campers

We got the discovery 13X. Great to tow, very comfortable king bed, easy to set up (after you’ve done it once or twice!) I can actually do it on my own and I have physical disabilities!Was given a quick run down of how to do things, of. Purse forgot half of them!A few minor issues… door window has nothing on it! No roller, curtain or tint. (Sorry camping neighbours, I didn’t realise you could see in!) very cheap and nasty looking plastic thing to get to door handle on door of fly wire, which can not be locked as you can just push the plastic across. Basically not happy at all with the door.A main switch is at foot of bed, every time we got out of bed our calf would switch everything off. (If it has to be there, a cover would be handy) solar battery doesn’t seem to be very big. Blockout blinds on back window got crushed from pillows, they are like tracing paper.

Interesting how the business Totally avoids mentioning that the campers are made in CHINA. Ask yourself why !!!

Came here again today to try and work out what we want to get (camper).Staff are amazing and have good knowledge and give real good customer service.I would highly recommend coming here to view their van or camper's, they offer a wide selection at reasonable prices.

I really wanted to give more then this but I just can’t the communication and after sales was horrible. I brought the discovery 15. 8 week delivery time was called 3 weeks before and the guy asked me what model van I’d brought?!?! Then called me back and said oh yep that’s right….The hand over was less then impressive none of the guys really knew what they were doing. The kitchen was dirty and cutlery draw full of crumbs.Upon arriving at our first trip along with other family members that have brought goldfields campers we noticed our hose drain for the sink missing. As soon as we’d get a bit of wind our stove would blow out as we had no wind breaker on ours but all the other campers do have?Our fridge track keeps locking up and we can’t close it and the solution given was to just stick a flat head screwdriver in it.After speaking to them about the stove they could only offer a temporary solution to a huge problem if you can’t use the kitchen.Quite disappointed to be honest as this was our first brand new van. And I’d just like others to be aware that out of 3 of our family members I was the only one that has had a not so great experience.The van itself has been great for our family just disappointed in the overall care. Do not recommend if you are going to spend 50k on a van go elsewhere

Bought a Discovery 13 and love it. Had small issue with hose connection and couldn't be more impressed with after sales service.Many thanks to Anthony, Amber & Frank.

The trailer is good, I have had a lock break apart, which we had trouble with during the handover, but that's about it.I broke a couple of leg stabilizers (my Fault) which I needed some advice on for replacement and tried getting insurance through Goldfields at their recommendation, but never happeneddue to no response.It deeply saddens me to post this review as the family are very nice. My review is purely based on the after service only.

Great service and staff friendly atmosphere made you feel welcome thanks for everything

My partner purchased one of these campers.Was so exciting to get it home, set it up and weather it.... but it seems the poles aren't very strong, and it had collapsed one night after some rain came through in the night. We'd set it up as per instructions. And the poles were completely ruined, and had ripped the brand new canvas. Thankfully we had not been out camping. We approached the business, and it was pretty much... bad luck. The awning is not very strong at all, and the poles very weak. We are now out of pocket hundreds of dollars for repairs and haven't even been out camping initially!. Extremely disappointed in the quality as it was rated at 100k winds... we had rain!! And extremely disappointed in the treatment afterwards. Took it away and lots more wrong..

Great display of campers and vans all set up to look at, worth a look if you want to actually want to see what your buying. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable.

Picked up our gorgeous new Eureka today!! We can’t wait to go on our first camping trip!The team at Goldfields have been a delight. From placing our deposit at the Melbourne camping show, to the constant communication right up to picking it up.The walk through was fantastic and as first camper buyers, all our questions were answered.Thank you Goldfields Campers!
