West Pennant Hills Discount Drug Store

Poor experience. Were on our way to restaurant to meet friends and I dropped in with script. Gave it to Assistant who gave it to Pharmacist. Chatted with Assistant since there were no other customers. After about 12 minutes, asked how it was going. Assistant asked and Pharmacist said that he thought we were just chatting, and he would do it now. Assistant and I looked at each other - she was a bit distressed, since we both knew that he had simply forgotten. Took me 15 minutes and we were a bit late at the restaurant!!

I have been going to this Chemist for many years and have never ever had a problem with anything, whatsoever. The owners and their amazing staff have always been extremely great in helping me with whatever I need. I am a disabled person with multiple health issues and they all go out of their way to make sure my every need is taken care of. I visit this store on a very regular basis and can honestly say that NEVER EVER have I had occasion to be disappointed by their excellent service. Nothing is ever a problem for any of them and if I need any sort of explanation, for anything, they are always willing to help with 'smiles on their faces' ... very, very pleasant people to deal with and I highly recommend this place, not just for medicines, but a variety of other miscellaneous items including a large range of Vitamins.I would like to shout out A HUGE THANK YOU to one and all at this fantastic Chemist, where nothing is ever a problem and they have, and still go well 'beyond the call of duty' in helping me ... might I add, I might be disabled, but I am a very observant person, and not only do they help me, but are extremely gracious, pleasant and helpful to anyone that walks into their store.Too many people revel in criticizing even a tiny mishap, but not a lot of people think of complimenting or thanking folk for their good deeds. As for myself, I have always believed in acknowledging good, rather than complaining.Thanks once again WPH Discount Drug Store.

We have been using this pharmacy for a looong time. Service has always been amazing. Always willing to go the extra to help us with any unusual circumstances or requirements. There has been the occasional very minor hiccup. But life is never 100% perfect. We will settle for 99.9%. If they are ever out of stock they can usual have the product by the next day. Now we have moved house, 300km out of Sydney, and we still use WPH Day & Night.

Purchased two packs of Hough rat tests. Both were faulty from the same stock code. Called the chemist, they said when stock available they would swap it out for me. Did not say the take a photo or keep the tests at the time. Waited nearly two weeks and when stock comes in they say they can’t swap it out as they need proof it’s faulty. Great work WPH discount drug store. Your poor floor staff have to deal with unhappy customers due to poor management.

Australia Post lost my first online order (which originated from the West Pennant Hills store) and as soon as I let them know, they promptly filled the order again and said they would work out the issue with Australia Post!Terrific service :)

After the hello at the front door I didn't feel the love. I wanted 3 of a prescription item and was told by the chemist I could only have two unless I would take a generic item as well. I thought they only had two in stock, but was told they had plenty but the warehouse was out of stock of the named brand and they were saving the named brand for other (obviously more important and preferred) customers. I get the message and will shop where they make me feel welcome.

I've always liked the non pharmaceutical staff who work here but the pharmacists can be quite abrupt. I just called them for some advice about a medication I've been prescribed and the pharmacist cut me off, told me to speak to my doctor, then hung up on me before I could say anything. I am supposed to start this drug tonight as it's a sleeping pill due to my 4 days straight of ZERO sleep. I will now go another night because I'm nervous. All I wanted to know was about interactions between this sleeping pill and a daily med I'm taking. Just so so rude. I will make a complaint tomorrow.

I have been going to this chemist for many years. I have found them very helpful and compassionate at all times. The business changed hands a few years ago and the new owners are just just as good as the old. The stand-out however is Yogita, one of the chemists, she has looked after me for a lot of years. I would recommend this chemist to everyone!!!!!!

The pharmacist yogita is rude and arrogant I asked for codral gave my id then she told me I had already bought some today and I could not have them. When I told her that is impossible she smirked at me like I was a liar. Then after 10 minutes of me making her check again she said oh sorry my mistake! Learn how to check your computer before you make accusations to your customers!

Some genius in Management seems to have instructed staff to chuck straight into the basket unrequested items (they allegedly deem complementary to the medication purchased) without even asking, just before customers are directed to the register. This sales practice is not only lame, but borderline dodgy, in particular if they do it with elderly customers.
