Had my Birthday Dinner here for 30 people. Great food, Great Venue.Cracking night when a band is on. My only thing would be more staff on a band night behind the bar.Great work guys.

how about setting yourselves apart from so many venues and cafes and restaurants in perth by having every member of your staff be as welcoming and friendly as possible. Will - you seem to be some sort of floor manager or something; how about you set the tone for your staff and instead of being a surly and oh too cool for school" bar person who couldn't possibly be welcoming and chatty how about you go out of your way to make people feel welcomed and valued at your establishment. Imagine that? If there was just one venue where you could go and be guaranteed a smile and some friendly service. Sigh - y'all need to grow up. If you don't want to be in the service industry because you don't like serving people then move on and do something else."

We went here recently for a lunch with a few families and it was great. The food was really nice and the atmosphere was friendly, not how I remember it from previous visits. The new owner has changed things for the better. The only negative I can say is the QR code based ordering system was a bit of a pain, why can't service staff just come and take your order anymore? Otherwise it was a great lunch thanks guys.

Revamped stalwart. Beer selection not as good as it used to be but still decent. Food much improved. Great trivia night on Wednesdays.

The Paddo has come back to life once again. Good casual atmosphere, drinks selection, and service. While it's not fine dining or the latest trend, still worth a look.

Been going to the Paddo for 20 years, it's a classic West Aussie venue, with everything you need for a great night down the pub. Good selection of beers, kitchen is decent and the seating arrangement means you can watch the footy from just about anywhere!

Paddington Ale House
Great meal. Recommend to try steak from staff member.Scotch fillet was excellent.Everyone enjoyed their meals.Unfortunately only counter service. Score would be 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ other wise.Parking at rear limited street parking.Mobility access people may find the hill from the rear a bit of a struggle. But entrance is acceptable and whole of area is acceptable once in.

The Paddington Ale House, the Paddo to regulars, is located in hustle & bustle of Mount Hawthorn. This long running iconic pub was established in 1932 and has been a very popular watering hole over the years. The main dining area is off to the right of the main entrance, with several cosy ‘nooks’ to relax and enjoy yourself. Bi-fold doors open out to the shaded courtyard that seats up to 40 people. There is a large bar running through the venue to function room and sports bar at the back. The meals offered are traditional pub grub to modern Australian cuisine, with daily lunch and dinner specials, available 7 days a week. We chose the salt and pepper squid with chips and salad and the vegan burger with a couple of pints of cider. The meals were very generous in size and tasty.I was quite surprised to see so few people at the Paddo on a Friday night. Maybe we dined early or possibly covid has kept the numbers low. A lovely pub with old world charm, dog friendly and free pool tables!#officially_perth
