As someone who lives in Clermont I love taking my visiting friends and family to the museum. The great exhibitions and especially the machinery outdoors make the visit fantastic.

Clermont Historical Centre
For a small museum in a country town the Clermont Historical Centre is punching above its weight. I really enjoyed the exhibition on the life of Rose Harris the saddler, a heroine of the floods, and I also enjoyed the outdoor area with all the tractors and steam engines. The grounds are immaculately kept up and it was a very pleasant couple of hours.

Clermont Historical Centre
Always a must do when we have family and friends visit us. There are a lot of items that provide nostalgia and memories for older visitors and lots of “what’s that” questions from the younger visitors. It also gives some great insight into to the history of Clermont and its surrounds.

We visited this lovely country museum and brought an interstate friend with us to share the experience. It was a wonderful day of exploration and the museum gives a great insight into the way things were back in the day in this area.

Great place to visit with the family to see the history of Clermont that has made it was it is today. Very friendly staff that are very knowledgeable.
