Lost my parcel completely. Phoned several times to get a status update / ask them to follow up. Each time I was told I'd receive a call back and never did. Still haven't received any communication from them at all over a month after the expected delivery date. Terrible service - avoid them wherever possible.

- No contact was ever made to advise that a delivery time will have to be scheduled with the recipient. I called to follow up as the item was sitting in the warehouse for a week and I was told so then a day for the delivery was booked in.- the day came and no phone call no delivery I called again just to be told the item (500kg) had suddenly gone missing.- I was told I would be contacted later in the day which never happened I had to call again and spoke to another person who reassured me I would receive a phone call shortly with an update which never happened.-I called again and spoke to a third person who told me the previous 2 employees who said they would contact me had gone home for the day.- she reassured me I would receive a call with an update today currently still waiting and no one has called.This company is a joke and they’ll be getting a formal written complaint by the end of the day.

I tried calling these people as the tracking on my package had stopped over a week ago. No one wants to answer the phone. When you get through and they say they’ll look into it and call back they don’t. Turns out my package has been sitting in the warehouse for a week now. The branch manager doesn’t want to deal with people to help them out. He might as well take his phone number off the website cause he’s useless. The warehouse manager I spoke to yesterday said the package would be put on a truck and be delivered today. I called him back after organising to get the package to where it’s been delivered. The place the item is going called today to ask me if they where delivering the package today of which I told them I was told it would be. Needless to say the item still hasn’t been delivered. I called the warehouse manager today and low and behold there’s no answer. I would not use these people to deliver me anything. I would also definitely not recommend them. Absolutely rubbish service and a very don’t care attitude out of every staff member I spoke to. Avoid this company at all costs.

I used Mainfreight Transport out of Townsville/Mackay and of Sydney a few weeks ago, to ship a steam-jacketed soup kettle from Mackay to Katoomba.They were very professional in their dealings with me...up to the point I put my shipment in their hands.Once my shipment arrived...the driver unloaded it in a great hurry, and got my signature and took off...and then five minutes later, when I unwrapped the kettle on the pallet...I found it to be badly damaged. The back had been badly bashed, breaking two of the valves on the back and denting the kettle...and doing who knows what other damage...as you may know, if a steam-jacketed kettle loses its ability to hold a vacuum...it is useless.Fortunately, I had taken pictures of the kettle just prior to shipping...so I have pictures of the kettle as shipped"...and had also had a catering equipment technician examine the kettle and give me a condition report on it just prior to shipping; so I have proof that the damage occured while in Mainfreight's possession.But when I reported the damage

We use these guys whenever we need cross dock services in Calgary. These guys are great if you need something done in a pinch. They can handle over dimensional freight no problem and provide timely service. Highly Recommended

Absolute rubbish! Don't ever deal with them and be careful if any of your suppliers is using them to deliver your product. Advise your suppliers to use a different delivery partner.My order has been dispatched for a month and still no confirmation of when it will arrived. Called Mainfreight serveral times, can never get to someone who can confirm a delivery date. Excuses including, they don't have enough trucks with boom arms to make the delivery, the delivery teams has gone for the day, or simply there is no one there to pick up the phone to answer your issues. Reception is lovely, but the delivery function is pretty much useless to me.If you don't have enough trucks to deliver goods. Just don't accept the order, let someone more reliable handle it. If you can't make the delivery yet. Call the customer back, let them know whats going on. If you have no trucks and no one to answer phones. Should'nt call yourself Transport Services" because you have none of them.Good luck to anyone using them or you better have a backup plan to pick up the goods yourself."

It is not often that I leave negative reviews however in this particular case I feel it is necessary. This was my second negative experience, hence the review.If I could leave negative stars I would. Probably the most inept, disfunctional, unprofessional courier company I have ever come across. To put a long story into simple terms, my first experience involved the delivery of a shed. I was informed by Mainfreight that my shed had been lost..... Lost?! I dont know how you can lose a shed but after the shed was missing for about 6 weeks it randomly showed up at my house after I had already purchased a new one.Second experience was not much better. I ordered about 7 large customs made screens from the Gold Coast and again, was informed after tracking them for 6 days at the Prestons Warehouse Sydney that they had been lost. Countless calls, hours on hold nobody could tell me where these screens were. Finally they were tracked down and delivered. HOWEVER, a majority of them were damaged so back they went. It would appear they sat in the back of a delivery truck all this time as I was told the driver loaded them without paperwork?!I was informed on the Friday that the damaged screen would be picked up early the next week. About 4 weeks later the screen was still sitting at my first door. I also tracked the replacement product which again say at the warehouse for 6 days before I initiated contact and tried to organise delivery. Again, countless phone calls with little resolution.This is a condensed version of a terrible experience with a logistics company which appears to lack any sort of logic and accountability for their freight. Do not use. I can not say any positive comments about this experience.WORST FREIGHT COMPANY EVER. You would be doing well to find a worse one.

My freight sat in the Depot for two weeks until I contacted them... they were to contact me upon arrival of my consignment. I then informed them of the day of collection. After arriving and giving the details i sat in the carpark for nearly One hour before going back to recetion. Another call is made and shortly thereafter a staff member arrives to collect paperwork and go look for the item.Not well handled for a simple task.All customers both Big and Small are important as is ALL Freight.
