Amber Albion

Thank goodness a tile shop with customer service! The new manager is a tiler by trade so his advice was gold. There are staff who can bring together a colour palette from inspirational photos and they are patient and know their products. The range is vast. The price point is excellent (by my research). It’s a one stop shop here as they also do bathroom vanities and tap ware etc. To top it all it’s right next to a decent McDonalds which is a great distraction for any kids in tow.

Extremely happy with the service, range and price. Especially after a rather disappointing experience with Beaumont.Andrew was lovely and understood just what we were after. Took all of 10 minutes for us to be pleased with our choice and out the door.Recommend.

I called Amber Tiles on the 21st of December and even though they were technically shut, they were SO helpful. Firstly the bookkeeper answered and did his best to look for this special outdoor grout I desperately needed for a project, I was hoping to complete before Christmas. They didn’t have it in stock, like all the other stores but what these guys then did was incredible. This guy called Andrew then called me back to understand more about what I was looking for, he then called the Ardex rep to see what he could find out- who told him that not one store in QLD has that type of grout in stock right now! So then what Andrew did is call the Ardex factory itself and arranged for me to collect it from the factory, giving me all the details I needed. It was amazing, the lengths they went to help me, when all the other stores just said “we don’t have any and see ya!” Andrew was awesome and highly recommend these guys for any of your tiling needs!

Initial sales experience was great however be careful to ensure requested tile quantities are accurate as Amber is likely become non-responsive on discussions of refunding any excess. Unfortunately I had the experience where a builder requested an excessive amount of tiles and the remaining boxes could not be returned with no clear direction on refund policy or options after many weeks of chasing.

Just a heads up, I went to the Amber shop at Albion today to get tiles with my wife for our bathroom renovation. I hate shopping for this stuff at the best of times, I think a couple of the staff could see my disgruntled face. Anyway, my wife and I were attended to by a couple of the staff ,that bent over backwards to find the colour and design that we were looking for, the place was really busy and the show room is really well set out, easy for guys like me, a big thanks guys , Regards Don

We visited Amber tiles at Albion recently at the recommendation of our builder and design advisor. We'd never been there before as we are from the southside. We have been somewhat frustrated in our dealings with other tile supply options but we were completely blown away by our experience at Amber. Lyn attended to our needs in a friendly, frank and professional manner. Her product knowledge and willingness to engage in our particular circumstance was impressive. Equally, Andrew was more than happy to share his knowledge and experience regarding tiles and tiling in a honest and respectful manner. Amber have an outstanding customer service focus. After doing a lot of research regarding Travertine outdoor tiles I was surprised to find there were significant quality differences available from suppliers around Brisbane. I chose to deal with Steven at Amber not only because he gave me good advice without being pushy but essentially because he had the best quality product at a reasonable price. Steven also helped by recommending a number of excellent tilers. I gave the installation project to brothers Andrew and Phil Marsh who have done a brilliant job. Good communicators and very skillful tradesmen who provided the high level of finish and attention to detail that I was hoping for. Thank you Amber.

I only had a small order but was very impressed that they took me seriously, great customer service, great range and prices. Very helpful and would definitely go back.

Spoke with ainsley and she was so knowledgeable, friendly, a real pleasure to deal with. Really knew her stock. Very impressed with the range and quality of their stock.

We've had a fantastic experience with the team at Amber Albion. Initially recommended by our builder, the team, especially Lynne, have been fantastic. I'd say they offer far more than 'just selling tiles'. Lynne has given us some fantastic design guidance across a range of products including tiles and tapware. Nothing has been too much trouble.
