This LGBT+ bar is really cool, the staff is super friendly and they made us Cosmopolitans that weren’t even on the menu.Loved it. Great sporty ambiance and friendly mates.Definitely would return.

Spent Saturday night here for an event. It was very convenient, the food was great (those gourmet wedges were perfect), bed was comfy and everyone was really nice. Hung out in the bar for a bit while I waited for my girlfriend, was a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere, just vibing to the music. Looking forward to our next stay

Sportsman Hotel
My husband and I went to the Sportsman hotel for dinner last night. The food was incredible, My husband had a parmy I had a steak. The husband said generally chefs over cook schnitzels and his was cooked perfectly.. It is an open kitchen and I was able to ask the chefs some questions, They were very friendly and helpful. Will defiantly return.

The hotel:The room was 85$ a night. Quite cheap. Amazing location. The bed was clean. The hotel was 3/5 on cleaning front. Very easy to get booking. Just call them.No showers in the hotel when I stayed on 14/1/2023. Shared toilet.

When Toxic bar staff can no longer control you they make false defamatory allegations. The accuser’s psychological disorder gets him the attention that he craves for and allows him to use, while still believing he is a decent person.Through baseless defamatory allegations and name calling the toxic barman will try to control how others see the person.These baseless allegations and misinformation is unfair but “I know who I am” I will never argue with a toxic barman who believes his own lies. However the toxic barman will be exposed to where others see the truth eventually.Neil you need to get your house in order as your unprofessional manager was dismissive and supports staff calling customers defamatory names !!!

If we could give more stars we would!My partner and I have recently started experimenting with a new lifestyle and celebrating our first night at the Sportsman Hotel was the perfect way to start this amazing, open journey.From the moment we stepped in to this vibrant, cheerful venue; we felt instantly welcomed by Ben, our supportive and fun barkeep for the evening.The food is very well priced and neither quality nor quantity were neglected. The Queens were incredible, the community were united, respectful and friendly.The Sportsman Hotel is an incredible environment for anyone looking to experience or feel comfortable in an unlabelled, welcoming and supportive establishment.Our only regret of the night was getting caught up enjoying ourselves too much and forgetting to tip our wonderful barkeep, Ben. His energy was confident, his outfit was hot and his personality was captivating.We apologise to him for being overwhelmed, overjoyed and stingy and we promise to make it up to him next time we see him.Thank you to Ben, all the beautiful, fun Queen's and the incredibly welcoming community that we found at the Sportsman Hotel. We can't wait to come back soon.<3 AJ and Ty.

Sportsman Hotel
Well the Wickham was closed for renovations and not much happening in the valley. So what's an out of town visitor to do? Headed to the Sportsman and wished we had found it sooner. Older, but friendly crowd, well mixed and very reasonably priced drinks, friendly and efficient staff and a great drag show. We had so much fun. Thank you to everyone at the Sportsman. We'll be back!

I was looking forward to coming to this place after traveling around solo for a week in straight spaces. It was closed till 530. Went for a walk and came back. There’s a sign on the door that says to ring the bell and someone will let me in. Did that and waited for 10 min. There were people inside. No one let me in or look at me. Rang it 3 more times over 10 min. Walked around to the other door and found my way in. No one welcomed me. The place was empty. I sat for 15 min and no one came over to take my order, welcome me or acknowledge my presence in any way. Servers were walking around doing other things and walking but didn’t acknowledge me or even say hello. Kind of a bummer of an experience. After 15 min of this I got up and left. Iwas really looking forward to being in a queer space.

Went for dinner with my family, was absolutely delicious and even the kids loved it. The portions were fantastic and the service was amazing. Will be returning again, next time with out the little ones too have some fun. Ty very much.

I've recently noticed that your entertainment usually doesn't start with an acknowledgement of country & traditional owners. It would be so great if you could encourage this and make a positive statement.Most shows I end up at, the acknowledgement is actually a great crowd warmer, setting the vibe for the night with a cheer and I'd love to see this brought in at Sporties.
