Excellent fish & chips. Their prices are the lowest I've found in years, yet they did not skimp on the quality. The scallops were large and juicy, the potato cakes and fish cakes were crispy and delicious. Try Fish-A-Fare for authentic Aussie fish & chips.

Food is so expensive and the family packs are deceptive, they work out to be the same price as when bought individually, it is cooked by pre teen and teenagers. Food wasn’t cooked very well

Taste good and batter is not too thick. Had a fish meal for 2 with extra one flake and calamari rings and scallops and onion rings. Meal for 4 - ample for a everyone.Service was good and service is fast as there were couple of other customers as well.

60 dollars for a family pack, the food was very average. We just buy it coz it was convenient location, would I buy again ? No.Service from the kids at the counter was good.

Being a Yorkshire man and loving fish and chips I looked forward to trying all the local fish and chips shops at Lakes Entrance .None were bad but none superb either ,maybe my standards are too high. Battered fish fairly good, chips medium at them all .Best chips were at the bottle shop at the pub in Paynesville ,about 20 minutes drive away. Fish a Fare fairly good.

flakes and calamari are fresh. chips is tasty and nice. chips and potato cakes are well seasoned. the owner gave us extra chicken salt which i appreciated cos i like my chips salty. my family and i really enjoyed it.

Way too much salt on everything. Fish was ok, potato cakes not cooked right through, calamari had a foul taste, almost like it was off, wife threw her chicken burger out half way through it. Sad to see
