After calling early on a Sunday morning because my car wouldn't start, Cody assured me he could come out and take a look. He arrived within the hour which was amazing and was able to fix my car on the spot. I would highly recommend using Cody and his Services - plus the Sunday call out rate was amazing!

The service I have experienced at Radical Mechanical has always been incredible. Cody goes over and above to do the job and always does his best to fit me in a timely manner to sort my issues. He explains everything so well and is thorough. The pricing has always felt very reasonable and expected and I have never felt uncomfortable in that space.As a woman I am wary of going to various mechanics and being overcharged or having issues misdiagnosed and so it is so comforting and reduces stress knowing Cody has his customers best interest in mind and is always very transparent and great at communicating what is required. The fact he hires female mechanics is also a big plus and the set up of the workshop office is lovely and comfy!

I couldn't recommend Radical Mechanical more! Top quality service, the staff are all absolute legends and go to no end to make sure I get my car needs met. The workshop space is stunning, and I've always felt that it is a safe and comfortable environment. Historically I've had a lot of mechanics talk down to me, or be dishonest to me, but I've always felt that Cody is respectful of all customers, no matter their car knowledge. I feel valued as a customer, and honestly couldn't ask for a better service!

Thought I’d try these guys out cause of all the good reviews. They charged me $359 for a service and then recommended I pay more for little things like an air filter and park light replacement etc. When I pay for a service at this price I expect cheap and basic details like these to be taken care of so I did feel a bit cheated. I was told that if I’d read the fine print I would have known prior to booking that it’s just the oil change and standard checks but maybe it could have been a little clearer.

I highly recommend this business, I was stuck en route from Sydney to qld and I received the most genuine, courteous, helpful, professional service. I had an urgent appointment in Qld and they ensured I got back on the road asap, and the cost was very reasonable. I also noted female mechanics working there. Amazing business. Cody and the team at Radical Mechanical have been my mechanic for a year now and are absolutely wonderful. Firstly, all of the services they performed on my both my new car and my old car (which was a 30+ year old car) were always exceptional, affordable and high quality.Before finding Cody, I'd been to countless mechanics who had taken advantage of the fact that I'm a young woman and not particularly knowledgeable about cars, and would sell me unnecessary services/parts and bump up the prices because I didn't know any better.Cody and the team are the exact opposite of this - very welcoming, accessible and honest about what your work your car needs. He is always happy to pop out of the workshop and explain to you in understandable terms what problems there are and what they can do to fix them.I wouldn't take my car anywhere else! Best mechanic in Newcastle!

Cody went above and beyond to help me get my car back on the road quickly. I found myself and my 2 young children stranded in the area with my car not able to be driven. Cody and his team helped me immediately and I was so grateful for their help. Reliable, professional, generous, trustworthy and very kind to help me without any notice on a busy afternoon for them. I can’t recommend them highly enough

Second time I have been to this mechanic. First time had no problems and was happy with the service.Second time I was very disappointed. I had initially booked the car in for an oil change. A week prior to the service, I noticed a smell and asked if I could drop the car in for them to have a look at it. They found 2 problems and said that they can fix the issues when I get my oil service done. I was obviously charge for the time spent looking over the car.Today I went to pick up my car after what I was told would be getting the two issues fixed and the oil service, only to find that only the oil had been changed.After talking to the receptionist, they said that they found more issues which need fixing so they didn't repair what they told me they would (sorry did you not see these issues last week when you charged me to look at my car for problems??). So after making sure my car was there at 7am for them to fix these issues, I am now left with my car still needing to be fixed. To top it off I wouldn't be able to book my car in for another week to get everything fixed.Very unimpressed.

Highly recommend them. Shane and team provided outstanding service.Had initially booked in for an alignment however got this done earlier. However needed a service done, so had them do it, they were more than happy to change my booking details.Got in and explained to them a few other issues I was having the vehicle. Shane came out inspected it and assured me they would take a look at it.Whilst doing the service they kept me updated throughout the process letting me know of things that needed to be changed.When I came to pick it up they gave me a list of stuff that needed to be changed in the next service, also gave me a recommendation for suspension specialists to see relating to my scrubbing issues.Also good to mention that I’ve just moved to the vicinity recently and have called 4 mechanics - all reputable in the Newcastle area but none of them offered services like radical mechanicalI can highly recommend them, fairly priced for the work performed. I think you get more than what you pay for if you think about the service provided.Thanks radical !
