It usually takes a lot for me to leave a review - but the service here is deserving - efficient, considerate and listens to what you are after, while also offering expertise and guidance on what will best suit your figure in regards to alterations. Exactly what a great tailor should do! Recommend highly.

Dean is the absolute best tailor I have found. I wouldn’t go anywhere else and have reccomended a number of friends to him. He tailored my husbands wedding suit to perfection and makes all my garments look like they were made for me.

Dean was a an absolute life saver, he did the fastest and most impeccable alteration on my wedding dress and since then has repaired and altered dresses and even a leather jacket. There is no one else I’d trust with my clothes

I found Sew & Sew via Google and I'm so glad I followed my intuition. My wedding reception jumpsuit is a gorgeous one, but a tricky one to alter. It definitely was not an easy task and needed an expert. I'm so happy Dean stepped up and he was the perfect person to do it! He was amazing all throughout, from the the first phonecall with him all the way to the final fitting of my wedding jumpsuit. He is very thorough and explained every detail, dotted the I's and crossed the T's, very reasonable with his rates and accommodated my requests with gentleness and care. He is a professional, a hard worker, and an overall genuinely good person. I highly recommend him and will definitely keep coming back for all my alteration needs. I highly recommend Sew & Sew for all your alteration needs. Dean’s work is amazing - he’s fixed everything for me, from the waistband of a skirt to completely rebuilding the bust area of a dress. Dean is an incredible professional, I had a dress that I had been waiting to wear for two years after my event was cancelled and rescheduled multiple times thanks to covid. I finally pulled it out a month before the date only to find that it no longer zipped up after the lockdown kilos. Because of the corset-style of the dress I really didn’t think anything could be done to enlarge it and was resigning myself to purchasing a new dress.I decided to have a quick perusal of alterations places in the area and saw his reviews and decided I’d take it in and try my luck. Turned out to be my lucky day as he reassured me he could alter it and have it done in time for my event. His work is truly immaculate and no one would ever know this dress has been altered. When I put it on for the first time after it was complete I was really quite emotional to have it finally be everything I thought it would be & for it to fit like a glove. I am so thankful for Dean’s beautiful work and for saving my dream dress✨

Incredible care and effort was put into the alteration of my 4 bridesmaid dresses. You can be sure that the tailor will do anything to help you with personal wishes and ideas. We all felt the work was very thorough and of high quality. Prices were very reasonable and timing suited to my needs. I would definitely recommend!

Dean is the best tailor I’ve been to, I recommend him to all of my friends! He goes above and beyond to get what I need done and provide an excellent service. He’s managed to turn things around in just a few hours when I’ve sprung them on him last minute, and he will stay back working late just to get my alterations done. He’s great at what he does and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
