Lakeside Banquet & Convention Centre

Domenic and the team at Lakeside were absolutely brilliant in helping us plan our wedding in a garden ceremony and a rager of a reception. The food was excellent and certainly abundant. As Domenic said, in his venue, no one goes hungry! Thanks for a fantastic day and night!

I've attended quite a few functions here. There are 3 function rooms so make sure you know which one you are going to. A modern Reception Venue in Taylor's Lakes which has an Elegant exterior and gardens down near the lake. A water feature with fountains and coloured lighting at night makes the large entrance portico visually interesting and supplies smokers with shelter. The dining room itself is also lovely with a large dance floor. Even the toilets are lovely and spotlessly clean. The entire venue and all its fixtures look as if it was brand new. The entrance areas are a bit small and in the Lakeview room especially, which can hold well over 300- 400 guests, it can get very crowded with predinner drinks. Staff are friendly and welcoming. There is heaps of parking at the property.

They're just money hungry. They blaming me and our families of adding extra people during the night when we actually had 2 people who didn't show up.Stay away from them If you don't want issues with your ceremony.If I could I would give 0 stars.

Attended a friends wedding here recently. Venue is tasteful and very clean. Room presented immaculately on arrival. The food was amazing! So tasty and plenty of it. The bride and groom should be very pleased with their choice as it seemed like great value for money. On the flip side, Service staff could do with some improvement/further training. Asked for Peroni beer, received a Corona. Asked for a glass of sparkling (wine) got water. Asked for a glass of Champagne (thinking if I re word my order I’ll get what I originally asked for) received a bottle with no cooler to place it in. Wait staff then removed my glass of half drunk sparking without asking if I was finished.Plates also not cleared as the evening went on. Antipasto was not removed until well after we had eaten mains. Plenty of glassware left and not cleared throughout the evening.

I recently attending a charity dinner here and it was an incredible experience. The venue it self was beautiful but what really impressed me as a caterer was the quality and quantity of all the food, it was definitely a 10/10, I will definitely use this venue for any upcoming events I have.

This is an amazing place for a wedding. My partner and I recently got married in the Victoria Room which comfortably fit 200 people. Dominic, Rita, Melissa, Brad and the rest of the Lakeside team - were prompt, knowledgeable and very helpful. As the day got closer and we had last minute questions and they were quick to respond and always provided suggestions. The service on the day was spectacular from the moment we walked in to when we left. The guests said the food was good and portion sizes were big. The price was very affordable and the location was great for all our guests.We are beyond happy with the experience.

Recently attended a fund-raiser and have been to this venue numerous times for events. Fantastic service and generous servings of canapes and main meals. Very modern and spacious inside with a big dance floor. Perfect for engagements and weddings.

The combination of the beautiful location and delicious food made our special day truly memorable. The person in charge of our event did a fantastic job, from helping us select the menu to ensuring that everything ran smoothly during the party. We received nothing but compliments from our guests who came from all over the world.However, I have to deduct a star due to some challenges we faced with the owner. Specifically, when it came to reimbursement for an overpayment. Dealing with the owner was difficult, and it took longer than expected to resolve the issue. This was disappointing, considering the otherwise outstanding service we received.Despite this setback, Lakeside Banquet and Convention Centre provided us with an unforgettable celebration. The beautiful venue, delicious food, and the efforts of the event coordinator made our anniversary truly special. We would highly recommend this venue for any special occasion, just be sure to clarify any financial matters upfront to avoid any potential inconvenience.Note: This review reflects my personal experience and opinions, and your own experience may vary.

The most beautiful reception I’ve ever been to. The food was absolutely delicious, staff were very accommodating and attentive. A very clean environment. Came here for a charity dinner and was absolutely blown away by the generosity of the owners of Lakeside Reception
