Hays - Recruitment Agency Ballarat

I was not really looking for a new position yet. I was looking forward to another couple of months holiday before starting my search for a new role. I was on LinkedIn one morning when I saw a position through Zoe Allan from Hays Ballarat. I messaged her through Linkedin at 8am thinking that this would not amount to much. I was so surprised when she rang me 15 minutes later, having looked at my resume and profile. After our initial meeting and then interview, I was offered the job. Zoe made it all so easy and hassle free. Even the salary negotiations went smoothly.

I was quite happy with the initial consultation and the promise of work provided by the agency. I was advised that they would be taking an active role in assisting me in finding a job. Unfortunately after only one and half or two weeks of contact (I was the one calling and following up) my phone calls ceased to be returned. I sent follow up texts and emails to multiple staff members at the office, but sadly received absolutely no reply to any of the correspondence. I am left thoroughly disappointed and feel that the agency did not do their job or provide any level of customer service. I would recommend using Chandler MacLeod for any recruitment and job seeking needs, I have had nothing but positive experiences with all of the staff there with whom I have communicated, and have had multiple successful and long term contract positions.

Terrible, rude, degrading and helpless customer service by Lucy.Ignored emails, no phone calls returned and very poor attitude over the phone.Disgraceful excuse for a “recruiting company” staff member. Maybe they should try finding a proper staff member for their ballarat office. :(
